Fandoms aren't exclusive clubs or anti-criticism hive minds. They can't throw you out and don't make you leave. You make yourself leave. Fandoms don't owe anyone anything. To believe they do means you have no clue what a fandom is, and you come across as entitled.
The "Borg" are the quintessential "hive mind." You are assimilated into it; most of its members neither join nor leave. They also traverse space in giant cubes, which is cool.
