Dark Qiviut

That has always been my biggest issue with Baseball honestly. For me it is sometimes so boring and slow that it’s unwatchable. 

1. There's a lot more dead time in between action than before. Sometimes more than half a minute in between pitches. Twenty to thirty years ago, it was commonplace to see ten to twelve seconds per pitch.
2. There are more pitches per plate appearance than before. 3.4 pitches on average, IIRC.
3. Over 1/3 of the outcomes are either a homer, walk, or strikeout. The more true outcomes, the less the ball is put in play and the more pitches thrown.
