Hasbro: *reads Fame & Misfortune's script* "Hey, this looks so gloriously abusive! But you're bashing Friendship Is Magic's target demographic with as equal a venom as the periphery."
DHX: "How 'bout I insert two ponies from the worst generation and write them with no genuine personality to represent them in the shallowest way possible?"
Hasbro: "Two tokens? Fantastic! Nobody will even notice!"

Rather than placing any faith in its primary audience, Fame & Misfortune plugged in the superficial representation possible to tell girls that they care. And, boy, do Toola-Roola and Coconut Cream behave like tokens. FLURRY HEART has twice as much personality than these quarter-note…things, and she's a BABY! Their dialogue and "conflict" — if you can call it one — are atrocious and among the worst of the show.
And really, after spending the second and third act treating little girls like crap, Starlight suddenly found two new "characters" who she didn't know existed until the very episode, never appeared again, and claimed to "truly" understand the "intentions" of the M6's autobiographical journal? *scoff* Please!
There's no reason for these two shitty "characters" to even exist. Coconut Cream and Toola-Roola are tokens, pure and simple!
