I'm sure, but I also somewhat doubt it. That slur has very explicit implications, especially if you use them in a specific order.

I.e., "This angry girl is (full of) butthurt."

Far too many people either don't know these implications or know and just don't give a damn. The latter part is what disgusts me most.

I think you are making a bit too much out of this people don't mean that literally anymore than they mean the words "shit" or "fuck literally when they say "oh shit/fuck I tripped."

Rarity was not really stupid, she was just too crazy about Trenderhoof all the time. And Trenderhoof... hm, probably the same thing, just about AJ.

At least that's how I see it.

I didn't find Rarity stupid, but I found Trenderhoof to be poorly handled by the writers.

I did find both of them struck with plot induced stupidity as well as Rarity's interest for Stallions was flanderized to the point of idiocy for the sake of the plot and humor, and Tenderhoof's interest in the countryside was extended to suddenly having a crush for Applejack for plot purposes. Honestly this episode reminded me for why the staff should not bother with romance for every attempt they've done with it has been mediocre.

Other than the Knuckles one, I personally like them.

Actually, I like Tails and Amy fairly well. Sonic bothers me because his arms are blue but other than that I can deal with his design. Knuckles is just plain atrocious. I don't know if I can get over it. Thankfully, these designs aren't permanently replacing the old ones.

Subjectivity is a helluva lot more interesting than objectivity. I'm sure you know that, though

I'm more interested in objectivity than subjectivity, but this will be different, as I'm more focusing on what I like and dislike rather than quality strengths and weaknesses.

Well even with strengths and weaknesses, they're fairly subjective in cases like this. It's not like there's a "correct" specific numerical value or way of grading or judging these sorts of things.
