Well, I respect your opinion. I'm more emotionally invested in the Princesses and I get really angry when they are treated poorly except for the Season 4 premiere and the Season 6 finale. But when they get turned to stone, I'm beyond angry.

Well, just remember the hug Twilight had with the Princesses. I mean, they were basically turned to stone before her very eyes and you could feel the emotion Twilight had when she was reunited with them.

I like the animation style and I love the characters. But, the story....where do I begin? I mean, the story could have been A LOT better than it already was, for one thing, tone down the tension such as Canterlot being occupied for starters. Maybe have a badly injured hippogriff that managed to escape the Storm King's forces race into Canterlot and reveal what has happened. To this end, the Princesses halt the Friendship Festival to investigate what is going on in Hippogriffia while Twilight and her friends go find additional help from other nearby kingdoms. They then head to Hippogriffia to help the Hippogriffs with their kingdom being the one that is occupied by the Storm King's forces. The Storm King would still get the princesses' magic by using the hippogriffs as a bargaining chip or something like that, I don't know. It seems half baked at best. Overall, I'd keep the characters and the animation, but CHANGE THE STORYLINE!!

I'll believe it when I see it for myself, season 8 episodes and all.

Michael Bell is still voice acting? This is the same guy as Quackerjack from Darkwing Duck and Drew Pickles from Rugrats and he's in talk of reprising Grogar for the series finale? My reaction:

Maybe the next Grand Galloping Gala episode would be about Trixie in over her head in performing her magic acts at the Grand Galloping Gala. What do you think?

I was thinking that the original plot for the movie would be very useful for a series finale when the time comes. In case you don't know what I'm talking about: Twilight and her friends dealing with the return of an evil alicorn named Cosmos, who is implied to be Celestia and Luna's brother, resulting in friction between Twilight and Celestia over the former's capacity to handle the situation. Essentially, all of the lessons that had been learned over the course of the show would be put to use here.

Seriously? A DVD featuring episodes from Seasons 1-4. If they included episodes only episodes from Season 7, then things would be different.

Which Grand Galloping Gala did you enjoy most?

Because she mostly solved a friendship spell that Starswirl the Bearded never completed. Watch the episode again and you'll see.

How about this plot? Trixie and Starlight are invited to perform at the Grand Galloping Gala, but when Trixie becomes too caught up in perfecting the act, disastrous results ensue.

All these ideas for a season theme look great. However, didn't Hasbro say that there was 5 more years planned of the show back in 2015? I'm predicting at least TWO more seasons of the show.

Still, it would be interesting for Luna to attend. Perhaps she can share in the feeling that the Gala was always boring and wants to liven it up as much as Celestia. Heck, maybe that could be a decent subplot to the main story with Starlight and Trixie.
