  1. Coming up next millenium, on a Very Special Episode of Sunny Side Den: A recently created thread is sparking a heated debate about Trixie! And her (mis)treatment at the pointed ends / of the writers' quill pens... (Do they still use those? Why did that last sentence sort of rhyme? WHY DO WE PARK ON DRIVEWAYS AND DRIVE ON PARKWAYS?! So many Questions!™) But I have cut through the Gordian Knot™ of argument and counter-argument to arrive at THE TRUTH!™ Sad! Sick! Believe me! And here, in all its glory, is the ultimate truth, justice and the American way! (which, by the by, appears to be "outsource all your voice acting needs to Canada!") Guys, I think we all know who the real cause of all Trixie's #Totally #Unfair and #Not #At #All #Poetically #Justified #Woes is... one scaly S.O.D. (Son Of a Dragon) at whose clawed feet we can lay the blame! If Spike hadn't said "Look, unless an Ursa Major comes waltzing up the street for Trixie to vanquish, I am not gonna believe a word she says, and neither should you!", Spins™ and Slains™ would never have gone looking for one. GAAAASP! Does his evil know no bounds? When will just vengeance fall upon the one who truly deserves it? This is something that cannot be denied! Grab your pitchforks, ready your torches! We must punish the perpetrator truly responsible for the totality of Trixie's torrid treatment! (Alliteration never gets old for me... for you, eh, YMMV.) Brought to you by the Trademark Corporation™ and your friendly neighbourhood Sunny Fox! PS -
  2. You can fly, but only at a speed 1/10th as fast as you can walk. I wish I could have a magic bag that creates whatever food I want.
  3. Fortunately, she has a wonderful voice and just sings for the crowd. Unfortunately, her singing attracts a huge flock of birds that shed huge numbers of feathers onto the crowd.
  4. And in FEH news, just pulled  Summer Linde with the 10 "apology" orbs for IS Bugs... ^_^ Horrible IVs, great design. Also have Summer Takumi (All Taku Team! :yay:) and Summer Camilla - just waiting for that Tiki...

  5. Although I agree Rarity would be a FABULOUS villain, I never bought the comic's reason for making her the next Nightmare Moon. As for the pilot scene, I've long maintained that, as represented, it wasn't a true test of loyalty for Dashy. And Dashy had done enough to make me doubt she's truly as loyal as is usually represented. *Note this: I don't necessarily dislike RD, but if you're gonna claim she never betrays her Element, I've got a doozey of a couple of counter examples.
  6. Most likely: Twilight... power corrupts, yo... she has the most power, hence the most corruption potential. Least likely: Fluttershy: Her gentle nature is least likely to go bad. Yeah, any of them could go evil, actually.
  7. One man, on his own, ruins a franchise. (Solo, A Star Wars Story)
  8. Annnnd that exceeds my drama quota for one evening... good night all, even if it's not night for you right now.

Eh, it was nothing serious, but thanks! :please:

  9. Well, it's padestrian, but I guess Celestia X Discord. Alternate Sombra is comic-canon, therefore ineligible... fight me, m8.
  10. Banned for having too many 3's in their statistics.
  11. Yay, thank you! I was just wanting a hug. *Return hug!*

  12. Q: What happens if you drop a hat in the Red Sea? A: It gets wet. Q: What is yellow and dangerous? A: Shark-infested custard.
  13. Click the Eye icon, ninth one along.
  14. Banned for using the word "banned" too many times.
  15. "Life is a Runway"... enough said.
  16. Banned for sharing a name with a rock-type Pokemon trainer with a thing for Nurse Joy.
  17. Everyone has an agenda, really. (The way you've titled your thread is definitely slanted in its own right - using quotation marks around the word journalists as if to imply they don't actually merit the name, and the use of "them" implying a "us vs them" mentality... well, you did say you want proof and evidence, right? A more neutral title would have been "Should you listen to game journalists?" Of course, you're free to use any wording you like - and that's an observation, not permission, IYKWIMAITYD) I do agree, though, the ultimate question we as gamers want answered is "If I buy this game, will I get my money's worth out of it?" The views of game critics should be used as one of a multitude of possible resources for one to make their own judgements, rather than just accepted and swallowed whole. But to discount their views purely based on them being game journalists is not very sound logic either. I would say take those views into account, along with gamers' reviews and whatever other information is relevant, and then make up your own mind.
  18. She also got a lot of attention from her excited jumping in Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000.
  19. How do you feel about sharing a first name with the current President of the United States?
  20. Definitely underarms... a fact my girlfriend likes to take advantage of... bless her.
  21. Technically, they're still "anime" since anime is just a shortened form of the Japanese loanword for "animation". But since anime as a genre is pretty just Japan taking early Disney cartoons and reinventing them to be Japanese, it kinda fits. The most recent anime I've seen is Aggretsuko. It's about a cute red panda who works in an office and sings death metal in her spare time. It's on Netflix, worth checking out. I might even do a blog series covering it in the near future.
