Everytime I post my opinion on a thread and some asshole has to be a smartass or be a jerk about MY opinions. It's not a specific pony, it's just...many of them

perhaps there's something "strong" with your opinions that impress them, note that they're not just 1, they're several. I personally haven't read any.

Filing some reports on people being assholes, smartasses, or jerks is a far more effective way to deal with them than publicizing them in a status update. No one should be acting like that, and offenders will be cracked down if we know about them.
