It's kind of the same way here. The SF Bay Area being the birthplace of thrash, it boggles my mind as to how many people only seem to cite Metallica as the scope of thrash they listen to. And usually only Master of Puppets or ...And Justice for All. Think anyone's ever heard of Testament? Exodus? Sodom? Nnnope.

Yea. Other than Nirvana know here really remembers or listens to grunge music.

And man do they over play Nirvana. It got to the point I start to feel vaguely ill when I hear it.
