Well, it's NOT as bad as this:

I swear to god, the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship is the DUMBEST name I've EVER heard and they REALLY should change it  ...

The black thing around the cockpit. It'll be mandated for 2018. It's universally hated for both aesthetics, visibility for the drivers, and potential safety concerns. The only reason it's being used instead of something else is that it was "ready to go", despite other concepts being tested.
