    Well I didn't plan on updating Windows any time soon, but apparently I should with the whole Meltdown/Spectre thing

    The performance hit is going to suck though, considering my laptop is already shit.

      You say that as if I knowingly bought a computer with a security flaw. I didn't. My parents bought it at a time when these flaws weren't known, at least to the public.
