I doubt she'll change much. She'll likely become a recurring character like Discord. Hopefully she'll get a more complete/satisfying redemption like he did. Just as long as she doesn't turn the Mane 6 into the Mane 7. Ask yourselves: Do we really want MLP FiM to find its Scrappy Doo or Cousin Oliver? ​

- More mythological creatures/monsters - A Celestia episode (though I fear it will be too little, too late ) Heck, I'd just be happy if she made herself USEFUL for once (again, it's likely too little too late) - Villain Team-Up! - More Gen 1 characters, or at least references. *Starts a fund to hire a lawyer to get Gen 1 Mane 5* - Minor Characters/Backgrounders helping out - Starlight getting a proper redemption - More celebrities/special guest stars That sounds awesome! ...but highly unlikely.

The Cutie Re-Mark Yes, the conclusion was rushed and hard to swallow...but it was action-packed, eventful, interesting, and full of callbacks. Plus, having so many villains in one story is just too good!

I'm very interested in what they'll do with the CMC now that the crusade is over. I've long wondered "Once they have their marks, what can the writers DO with them?" Now we're going to find out! Will it be the start of them growing and changing as characters and finding their own paths? Or will they be completely pointless/useless now? They sure didn't do much after they got their marks last season, though I'd like to thing it'd because the creative team had other things to deal with. And while I'd like some focus on Celestia, I think it's too little, too late... Oh, and more mythological creatures/monsters please! Give him time Me, I think they're saving him for later. He's the kind of villain you save for the Series Finale or a movie/special!

I suspect sometime in May like last season. And we pretty much saw this coming. How could one not? Though I'd been wondering if they'd stick with Skyla or go for someone new. Now we know (and knowing is half the battle!) I just hope no baby shower initiations were sent to the Villains...

Best: Discord for being spread out. Worst: Starlight. Her "redemption" in that song should've been the season premiere's story. Heck, even her "why I turned bad" backstory doesn't carry water and doesn't really sync to what we'd seen and was previously indicated. And if she becomes the 7th Element Bearer...

At least that's something. Just as long as it isn't another WHOLE YEAR between seasons. That was really annoying. I think a lot of people left the fandom too I Don't know if I could go through that again. I might even abandon ship myself...

That's been on my mind recently too. Personally, I think what happened with Gen 1 is happening with FiM and they've removed a lot of the magic & monsters to grow up with its audience. Those little girls aren't so little anymore, so it's about time to move on from fairytales & fantasy to more common, grounded issues (though the finale showed they'll still go there when they have to!)

Eh, I prefer they stay evil. Save the "We have to do bad things to survive, but feel really bad about it" to some overwrought anime that wants to be complicated, complex, and confusing. Though I wish they'd played a more prominent role. Just think of the story potential of having a team of evil shape shifters around!

Depends on how it's handled. Unfortunately, it's being handled worse and worse. Luna spent many of her post NMM appearances trying to redeem herself, or at least showed signs of remorse. Discord's trying to reform, but still doesn't fully grasp what friendship is (nor should he. He wouldn't be Discord if he didn't troll/punk our heroines). Sunset Shimmer had a whole movie, parts of another, and some shorts trying to turn good. After what, it's "Presto-changeo, we're good now!". Trixie about face in "Magic Duel" was too random. I would've bought Diamond Tiara's reformation in "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" a LOT better if it had happened sooner (a lot sooner). And Starlight...sweet Celestia, Starlight! She turns good in a song montage that should've been several episodes! Heck, even her backstory didn't carry water! Call it the power of friendship if you will, and/or that forgiveness is very important to a relationship. But it shouldn't be So damn easy...

Can't remember if I posted on here (and too lazy to read through if I did), but... Sunset, who made a better hero than villain. In fact, one has to wonder if she was a crappy villain so she COULD be a star...

Not really. Turning Equestria into Wackyland doesn't really rank very high on the Evil Meter to me.

I'm hoping she gets a deeper, expanded redemption like Sunset Shimmer in Equestria Girls 2, Discord in "Twilight's Kingdom", and Luna in "Luna Eclipsed" and "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sleep". I also hope it takes several episodes, thanks to 4 episodes of villainy as supposed to 2.

The Good: - Villain-tastic! Villains! Villains EVERYWHERE!! All the weirdoes/in the world/are here right now/in Neigh York City! All the crazy boys and girls/peacocks! Posers! Show no pity! - Epic, hardcore action! - Filly Fluttershy is just SO adorable! (I think I need an insulin shot) - Dash watching Starlight and Twilight battle (and her "Aww" when Twilight left) The Bad: - Starlight getting off easy. Like, the easiest any antagonist has gotten off.That should've taken several episodes, not a song where redemption was handed to her on a silver platter... - Her backstory. It's been speculated that something happened to make her hate cutie marks, but...that was pathetic. Sunburst didn't even DO anything, let alone wrong. She just gave up on friendship all together over something that shouldn't have mattered! - Tried not to listen or think about it, but a voice in my head kept saying "Nightmare Moon should be the only alternate universe...". So yeah, not the best Finale. But certainly entertaining and enjoyable!

The main ones were all kinda cool, but I'm going with the Discordverse. Just check your sanity at the door and have a good time! Sombra: Crystals! Soldiers: Crystals! Sombra: Crystals, crystals! All of them sucked except Discord's (it can be pretty fun. You just have to be batcrap insane to enjoy it). Though I was taken aback by the Flim-Flam one. Et tu, Flim & Flam? You know you've failed in life when you're lumped together with the other villains... I kinda wish it had been a 3-parter or better paced to give the other villain futures a shot. (Tough their VAs was an issue)

Amy may've been one out best writers, but her leaving doesn't mean FiM's in trouble. We'll just have to see. Que sera sera... This.

yet another in a series of "meh" episodes with some good stuff here and there. I'm getting more worried that "Friendship is Magic" truly is losing its magic An episode with Discord AND Zecora shouldn't be so...dull x_x

Just a little. It has been feeling a little more like "MLP Tales" than "Friendship is Magic" lately. Though to be fair, it's a similar situation. Just as Tales was made to appeal to the original Pegasisiters who were too old for fantasy and fairy tales, so too is FiM trying to keep up with its target demographic. After all, Those little girls aren't so little anymore...
