      lol, most instances of Western Hardware vs Russian hardware (like gulf wars) the Russian hardware is outdated and thus comparing the two is stupid (Yet people still do it) Russian hardware is equal to if not superior to its western counterpart. (T-34 vs Sherman,T-54/55 vs Patton,T-62 & 64 vs 48,etc...)

      If I am not mistaken Russian weapons have usually been superior since 1948.

      Mostly because of their easy use, cheap production and solid reliability.
