      I agree completely, I also believe that their activity should've been watched by their parents to begin with, and I do think that the horror sites they were on (creepypasta and such) were also of influence. Of course it's not the site owner's fault, or the writers but regardless.

      That's actually another thing that manages to bother me, parents who are supposed to hold responsibility for everything their chid does/ children do and still go and blame it on the source material anyway. I'm not saying that wherever they found their inspiration from was not even in part to blame for what happened, of course it was, other wise the incident would not have occurred in the first place.
