Title speaks for itself :3 So yeah, I've not really got any idea as to why profanities are seen as being such a bad thing, sure they may be vulgar but other than that what's so bad about them? Anyone got any ideas?

Ok so a friend of mine introduced me to Jaden Smith's (that's Will Smith's son for those of you who don't know) Twitter feed and the first thing I noticed was; none of his posts made any damn sense!! I have TWO younger brothers and they really know how to get on my nerves... One's 16 today and Is very academically and artistically skilled (one day I'm gonna force him to draw pony pics :3) but has all the common sense of a chocolate teapot -_- The other's 13 and autistic, he gets a lot of shit from the other kids in his school because of his condition. Now I'm not violent by nature but If I weren't over 16 years of age I'd go over there and make sure that no one ever gives him crap ever again :okiedokielokie: So yeah, having annoying younger siblings has it's fair share of downsides...that's it -

I personally know very few people that positively loathe the names that their parents gave to them. I, however, am one of those people. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary and whilst I don't hear it a lot I know for a fact that a great many others share the name; Antony. Not "Anthony" like most people would spell it but Antony... Aside from the fact that I've always thought the name was stupid, regardless of the spelling, I've just never liked having it as my own name -_- If I could change my name to anything it would have to be Ivan, I freaking love that name. -

Are you shitting kidding me right now?? How many "famous people" topics is that in one week? 2? 3? 4?? Why does this matter so much to everyone? If there's someone on the forums that you're good friends with and want to give a shout out to then there's nothing wrong with that but this is just getting ridiculous... How the flip do you even define someone as being super famous? What's the difference between that and just being famous? Is that suddenly not good enough anymore? -

Hmm, no that's true enough we always see that Applebloom has a pretty positive disposition about her which does technically counteract the argument. However I think the point of this post was to generate sympathy for Applebloom in light of the circumstances that she's been through rather than label her as being a depressed/depressing character. -

I think you might have misunderstood what he was saying there. In those points he listed at the end there where it said "Is bullied, even by her own family" he was referring solely to Babs Seed. I don't think he meant for there to be any implication of neglect on the part of her close family, just the fact that because they are working all the time Applebloom won't necessarily be looked after as much as the others :/ It's like the old saying: "Suffering builds character" and Applebloom is one hell of a personality -

Another topic about famous Bronies? I've noticed a ton of topics based solely around this ego-feeding nonsense lately, I'm just glad that everyone here seems to have their heads screwed on properly. It's fun to get noticed but not to be popular, don't ever get the 2 mixed up. Personally; I don't know a single 'popular' Brony here, so I can't really say anything about them in all fairness. I myself don't relish the idea of being popular, noticed yes but not the same extreme as you'll begin to find that people will create an image of you in their own minds and set their standards/expectations of you according to said image. When you fail to be seen for who you really are then you have a problem. Happiness is something that we should all pursue, fame isn't always necessarily the way to go about achieving it though. -

That's not really a lot to go on...oh well, welcome to the forums! Now I'm not quite sure what you mean by advice so you might have to be just a little bit more specific But I can tell you the basics. Firstly: You have your own profile (duh ) so you can personalise it however you like, it even has an 'About me' section where you can ramble on for as long or as little as you like about yourself Secondly: You can make posts in ANY topic, there are thousands upon thousands of different topics here and you can even start your own if you're up to it! Thirdly: Arguably the most important rule...make lots of friends! The forum is brimming with tons of wonderful and eccentric people who'll be more than willing to befriend you and it really is a very nice thing to do Ok! That should about cover it for now. If you've any more questions don't hesitate to ask, also feel free to add me as one of your welcoming friends if you like PS: I know someone you know...or so I've been told
