  1. Hey there, nice to meetcha! I have to say that you will not be disappointed with this place, making friends is something that everyone here likes to do and there are tons of us who share the same hobbies as you! (me included :3) I live in the UK too and also agree that MLP has a really positive effect on people feel free to add me if you like! Welcome to the forums and enjoy your stay!
  2. It's probably just me and my bad luck but for whatever reason I've lately been coming across a lot of people who are down in the dumps and without much hope for their futures. So many people here seem to be just living through the motions, not valuing the time they have to themselves. So many people living their lives feeling purposeless, unwanted, unneeded and unloved...why? Why are so many people without any of these things? why do they continue to live each day in perpetual misery? I've a theory as to why; some people don't see a reason as to why they even bother living each day, thus they are without the motivation they need to spur themselves into doing anything. That's why I want to ask you guys; do you have your own meaning to life? If you do what is it, what makes it special to you? My own meaning of life is (cliché warning) happiness. If I can feel happy and make others happy then I feel like my life is more than worth living each day
  3. Erm, anyone home? This place feels so empty right now... :(

  5. I worship videogame music creators. In particular Nobuo Uematsu, mainly cause he's responsible for some of my favourite Final Fantasy OSTs.

  11. Whilst I would have to agree that some more modern games are lacking a little in challenge not all of the games that are from this day and age are too easy. An example? Square Enix's Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII Is supposed to be absolutely nightmarish on it's harder difficulties from what I've read. Another example; The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds released back in November last year had a "Hero Mode" that made things 4 times harder for you. So yeah, some games might be too easy but there are still at least a few that try to sate the thirst of other gamers looking for more of a challenge. It's just a shame that not all of them do this :/
  12. Thanks for the friend request! ;)

  15. There's one very important detail that this story fails to touch upon. What did Nassy's butt feel like? :3

  19. It's interesting to finally see someone speak out about this issue of ours, people say that a lot of Bronies have forgotten and abandoned the old creed of 'love and tolerance' and whilst I like to think that a lot of us still do hold those virtues in high regard I still believe that not enough of us I.e. the majority, do not respect this enough. Like RainbowGlass said; we need to be able to respect and embrace each other's differences, we ought to celebrate and cherish the diversity of humankind that makes each one of us different cause at the end of the day how much fun would it be if we all thought the exact same way? I understand that some people may feel vexed when they see someone else voicing an opinion that directly contradicts their own and it's not even a bad thing to try and challenge our perceptions from time to time. I've noticed that of all the places on the internet this one has shown to be one of the areas that tend to get less heated from the rest, why this is I'm not entirely sure but I think I have a hunch; it's because we communicate better than most people and because there's some form of understanding that exists between each and every one of us. That's just the way I like to think of things and yeah it may just be wishful thinking but think about it for a moment. What's the one thing we all have in common? the one reason why we are all here? the answer; ponies. MLP was what brought us here in the first place for one reason or another and it's that same benefactor of ours that teaches us to love and tolerate each other, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, faith and of course ways of thinking. I'm not saying that something needs to be done about this or that any kind of action ought to be taken, no, I just think that from time to time we ought to spare a moment to remember that for all that the things that separate us from one another there is just as much common ground that we all share that brings us together.
  20. It was bound to happen eventually *sigh*, everyone has bad days right? Oh well, see you guys tomorrow...

      @Malinter

      LPs are a boredom AMPLIFIER, in my case - the only ones I can watch with any interest are Spoony's. What people see in Game Grumps, I'll never know.

  22. Hey guys! I've decided to lend my friend a hand with teh egg fiasco again, they're on both our profiles now so we'd appreciate any help we can get! ^_^

  23. Oh this is an interesting argument... How would you go about defining what a "current gen" console is and what a "next gen" console is? By my standpoint I would define a console as being current gen if it has been released and is currently available for retail. By that logic any console that has passed it's release date and is in circulation is a current gen console, because it's the generation that is currently a part of what we own, do you see what I'm saying? So of course the Wii U is current gen, of course the Xbox One and Ps4 are current gen, they all use CURRENTLY EXISTING TECHNOLOGY no matter how inferior to the likes of any top of the range PC.
  24. Oh for the love of... Will people please STOP comparing Bronyism to homosexuality and religion? Honestly, the only thing linking them is that, for one reason or other, they all carry some sort of stigma. Not a very well-founded way of saying that they're even remotely similar :okiedokielokie: And for those of you saying that any one of them is more or less significant than the other; who are you to preach that sort of nonsense? Unless you're a gay christian brony (just as an example, i'm not trying to target gays or christians specifically) then how can you stand to be the voice of reason? How can you claim to stand for everyone when you don't even know them yourselves? How do YOU know how deeply any one of those factors has impacted the lives of any one other person? Think about that.
