    I'm implying that the game's success couldn't have stemmed from nostalgia because it was the game's first release. That's the point I was trying to make, that its success came from elsewhere.

    Honestly? I've played the hell out of the pair of them for the past 13 years, and whilst nostalgia is an undeniably HUGE factor in my enjoyment of the pair of them I don't think it's entirely fair to say that OoT's continued positive reception among the gaming community is purely down to that alone. Plus, would OoT have been anywhere near as big as it was back during it's first ever release in 1998 if all the clamour surrounding it where down to, at the time, non-existent nostalgia?

    I almost lost you on your points about Majora's Mask there until you said "needs a remake", and then I just squeeed internally. It totally does Oh yeah, made fighting the last boss without a shield that bit more nerve-wracking though

    The 3DS XL, whilst still retaining that slightly uncomfortable feeling of button placement, is the perfect size to see everything on screen, though it is still a little costly :/ Skyward Sword was a brilliant Zelda, and even though I have to agree that 9 times out of 10 I enjoy using the GC controller for most things--I thought that the motion controls were one of the best things about the game and were what made it so unique and special.

    Fair enough, but I would be remiss in failing to mention that the 3DS version of OoT Is absolutely immense and that you're missing out big time.

    3DS version remedies this by allowing you to face each boss you've already taken on again after completing the Forest Temple, jes' sayin'.
