I am currently in love with My Little Pony, PC gaming thanks to Steam sales, and 90's Are All That on Teen Nick.

My favorite all time videogames in no particular order are:
The Bioshock Series (Yes, I even liked 2)
    Skyrim
    Half-Life 2
    Fallout 3
    GTA V
    The MGS Series
Pokemon Black 1 and Black 2 (I've played them all but these were fantastic)
    Ocarina of Time

I listen to too much music to even try to list all of my favorites, but I like Metal (Mostly Black Metal)(Mostly Norwegian)Hip-Hop (Both new and old school, not much I don't like)Screamo (Indian Summer, Loma Prieta) Emo (Cap'n Jazz)Jazz (Bill Evans)and a bunch more.

I say my favorite pony is Celestia but it's honestly a 6 way tie between the Mane Six. However, Celestia looks cooler than them, so I chose her.

  1. This episode was an awesome back story episode. It showed Rainbow Dash doing the infamous Sonic Rainboom as a filly that was talked about in an episode from earlier in the season, it showed where Spike came from, and it helped to round the rest of the main six. Not to mention how funny the CMC are every time.
  2. Thanks a bunch everyone, I already feel welcome and I've begun posting in the discussion threads. Also, as a slight update, I'm on the season one finale!!
  3. Before I knew Philomena was a Phoenix, I thought it was hilarious that he just died and turned to ash. But that would have been pretty gruesome for an mlp episode obviously, so the fact that he was a Phoenix was pretty damn cool. Also, this episode showed Fluttershy making a morally ambiguous decision, and I'm pretty sure that hadn't happened before this.
  4. This episode was a mixed bag for me. I felt like Pinky Pie was objectified in this episode much more than I'd ever like to see. She was obnoxious and contributed little to the episode, which is sad because she's my favorite character, and more often than not she's charming and fun. I also didn't like how racist the episode was, intentional or not, one of the main reasons for my brony fandom is how positive, uplifting and progressive the show is. It almost felt like the show stooped during this episode. Those complaints aside, I love visiting places other than ponyville in equestria, and this episode gave me hope for exciting new places in the show's future.
  5. This episode is cool because I love seeing all six ponies working together, even though it was somewhat brief in this episode, thanks to Rarity's hilarious whining. I also loved all of the LOTR references, plus the Stravinsky reference was awesome too.
  6. Before I say hello, I believe I should explain how I got here. Yesterday a friend of mine and myself were searching through Netflix, trying to find something to watch. Before too long, we happened upon Bronies, a documentary I'm sure everyone is aware of at this point. In my school last year, bronies were somewhat of a running joke. Let's face it, the thought of males between the age of 18 and 30 dressing up like Pinkie Pie and doing generally ridiculous or flamboyant things was not only considered very weird, but also pretty hilarious. Not to mention the immediate assumption by most onlookers that all Bronies are homosexual. So, as you can imagine, when we stumbled upon this documentary, our little knowledge of Bronies had our interests piqued, and we began watching the documentary. Now, I am an avid cartoon fan. I love most cartoons, from the early nineties to now, with my favorites being Rocko's Modern Life, The Powerpuff Girls, CatDog, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Adventure Time, The Regular Show, and The Amazing World of Gumball. Because of this, when I saw these Bronies listing their reasons for loving the show: great animation, fantastic storytelling, lovable characters, etc., that was all I really needed to hear before I decided to quit the documentary. (I was about 10 minutes into it) The next thing I know, I'm about four episodes in, and I'm pretty quickly falling head over heels for this show. The characters are all absolutely fantastic, the art direction and animation quality is near untouched, the storytelling is above and beyond anything I've ever seen in a children's cartoon, and most of all, I find myself laughing and smiling more while watching this show, than I do watching any of the other cartoons i mentioned above. With that said, I am now on episode 18 of the first season, and i cannot wait to get even further into the show. I am an 18 year old heterosexual male, with no intention of ever dressing up as a pony, but with every intention of discovering all of the fun to be had in this show. So, hello everypony!
