  1. For me, it is always hard choosing a gaming system. I know I can only afford one every 5 years so I need to know I am choosing the best one for my needs. Generally, that comes down to where are my friends playing. Gaming is social to me and I want to be able to play with them.

Also, the problem with the switch is the price.  You might be correct in saying that it is a handheld system and is not worth comparing... but the price kind of forces the comparison. Also, it is a Nintendo system like does anyone buy the switch to play Doom? No, the buy it for breath of the wild and Mario Odisy and splatoon. It is cool it can play Doom... but does anyone really care?

  2. I only go against those who go against me. If they hate the fact of my sexuality, then I will hate them as a person. Simple as that. If one doesn't exactly agree with LGBT's, whatever. I view that viewpoint as a wrong one, but, whatever. The moment someone starts hating it is the moment my tolerance goes to zero.

This is probably good love the sinner not the sin kind of thing!

  3. Cis-passing?

Why does this sound so negative?

Because they are trying to use it in a way to make my opinion less valid.

??? do you realize being friendly doesn't work with these people it's best to just ignore them entirely lol the reason i asked for your race is merely because that can greatly affect the discrimination you receive lol. for instances, hispanic and black families tend to absolutely fucking hate LGBT people, ESPECIALLY trans people. also, i'll ask it again, are you or are you not cis-passing

I guess I am passing that is rather subjective though hu?

This all comes back to my personal motto "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." It means revenge just leaves everyone worse off, it is best to play nice and be friendly even if it doesn't work. let bygones be bygones

  4. im... also trans. and hispanic so you can guess whether or not i've been discriminated against are you cis-passing and/or white?

I am bi, white, and trans although it is irrelevant to my topic.  I am not talking about racism, so I am not sure why you bring that up.

You made an assertion that "they" made it us against them. That means the burden of proof is on you, to provide an example of what you are talking about.  Because as a trans person, I have NEVER experienced any discrimination whatsoever.

    I

am not denying some amount of prejudices exist. The only thing I really said was to be nice to everyone. The point being making it US vs. them makes our lives harder. We want people to learn about us and to accept us... not be held at gunpoint and forced to accept something they don't agree with.

  5. non-LGBT bigoted people (im not gonna say cis because god tumblr ruined that word for me)

they've always discriminated against us and they're the ones who have always made it us vs them

    so yeah

not saying all non-lgbt people are bigoted, but holy moly a ton of em are

As a trans person, I can say I have never been discriminated on. What discrimination are you referring to specifically?

  6. fortunately or unfortunately, the real world has hypnosis in it :) I just got off a hypno session. I dont like seeing people claiming it isn't real. You scoff at it, but you probably have not tried it and may be one of those that doesnt really pay attention if you listen to a file, or just purposely ignore everything and claim it doesn't work. Its a little rude to come into a blog like this and say 'I live in the real world and that's just fake'. its not a placebo and its not fake, its like a mentally altering drug and should be used with care. it would be even more rude if it were  a placebo effect, but fortunately, it is not.

good luck and i hope you enjoy your change valiant :)

You can say whatever you want but it is not anything like a mind altering drug. A drug can be tested we can measure the results of a drug. We can see the chemical changes a drug produces. I also like how you fake quoted me. I was trying to be very careful, never saying it is fake. In fact I say the power of suggestion is very powerful. I only said nothing scientific happens, never it is not real. Lots of unscientific things have very real results.

Coming here and calling me rude is toxic to the conversation. I believe the point of this is to discuss the possible effects of pony hypnosis. Not so be some Echo chamber of praise.

  7. Scientific or not, it doesn't change what you believe and feel. The Placebo effect, unless I'm wrong, means that one takes a medicine, for example, that actually does nothing. However, even though the medicine does nothing, the person believes it does, therefore, in some cases, causing the effect the medicine would have had to actually happen, albeit in a smaller way. So, even if this hypnosis thing doesn't really 'alter my personality', I believe it might.. So let's just see what happens. Maybe I will feel like a pony. Wouldn't that be awesome?
maybe to each their own. I prefer to live in the real world. Facts and science won't let me down like feelings can. However if you like it go for it, it is not dangerous or anything.
  8. I'm gonna do my own little experiment on this soon, and I'll have my friend be watching and writing down what happens, just so I don't put my bias into anything. This is super interesting.. I think it might be true

A friend would not eliminate the risk of a placebo. That is in fact the problem with hypnosis in general. In is not testable in any scientific way.   There is a reason no real doctor will recommend hypnosis .

However, the power of suggestion is powerful.  you believe you are a pony, because you are told that you are one. Nothing really scientific happens.

  9.

If you read what I said it says the show is dumbed down in my opinion, why be a Brony when you are disliking the reason you were there in the first place?

Because like he said the show has nothing to do with being a Brony.

Hell I don't love the show (I am more of a comic gal) but I still call myself a Brony. But whatever if it causes you this must displeasure perhaps it is best you leave.

  10. You seem like the kinda guy, who can find alot of enjoyment that the people of the fandom put out and that's totally okay.

No I really don't like fandom things, animations, or music or anything like that besides a select few, IE. Animated James really funny but I digress.

I get what you are saying because i think we agree, when the show ends I will loose interest fast. But I don't call that leaving the fandom, I think that my enjoyment of the show in the past still qualify being a "brony".

I will put it this way, I used to love Spongebob when i was little, i watched it everyday before school I loved it so much. Now i don't watch sponge bob the jokes are a bit juvenile for me now as I am older. However when asked I would still say I am a fan of Spongebob sure I don't watch it, the the memories are enough.  Same with MLP I guess, when the show ends I will not go back and watch old eps too much. I will stop going to conventions ETC. however when asked i will still say "I am a fan of MLP" and really that is all being a Brony is A fan of MLP.

  11. I believe the whole "ride never ends" thing is more of a joke vs people really thinking the show will go on forever, because obv. it will not. In fact I am not sure why you would want it to, if not this season maybe the next, I would really like the show to end on a good note vs dragging on like the Simpsons.

As for as the fandom is concerned with this, I think Bronies will always be here in some since, kind of like the Trekies or something, in fact it is already at that point kind of. stores don't really sell Brony merch anymore, but the fandom just kind of does it own thing. I see that happening for quite a while.

As far as me, I don't see a point is "leaving the fandom" when the show end, like yeah my interest will move on and all that, but being a Brony will always be a part of my, I have spent like 3 years of my life with this makeing friends going to conventions ETC. that is not something that I could just forget about.
