Vertic got up but then something came to her mind. Wait..what if the referee thinks I'm cheating? What if they think I was knocked unconscious but then got up again..? If they do, how will Vertic explain? She doesn't know. (Neither do I XD) So Vertic stood there.

Ugh, this won't come to a good end..for me at least. Vertic thought to herself. But I won't think about giving up..Not even in my dreams. 

She lies there,pretending to not move and close her eyes. This might not work..but who knows? I can pretend that I am defeat, after he stops attacking me I'll get up.

Vertic eyes widened as the fire went straight for her, she was surprised. Vertic stood still as the flames zoomed into her. All she could see now is white..seconds later, she could only see with her right eye. Vertic's left pupil turned grey, she coudn't see through the left eye anymore. She got up, her mane, tail and even parts of her hoof casts are burnt, left with the colour charcoal black. She was mad, crazy mad. Vertic ran as fast as she can, running towards Samurai, grabbing her axe. Vertic jumped at striked at Samurai, at least 10 times. She doesn't know wether the attack will kill him or make him unconscious or do nothing at all, she doesn't know why she was doing it, but all Vertic was thinking and know is to attack Samurai.

"If you say so, I'm no normal coward." Vertic stepped out of her fighting place, waiting for Samurai to stop hiding too. No more hiding it is. "Now would you mind to stop hiding in your turtle shell? This cannot be a little hide and seek game, you know that right?" 

"..." Vertic still hid and kept silent, she knows that her opponent will pop up and attack her any moment if she came close to the piece of armour. Vertic is quite impatient, she tried her best, Vertic moaned silently. She does not want to get attacked, yet this is how it's going to stay if nopony will attack and hide like this. What would Vertic or Samurai do?

Quickly, Vertic blocks the attack with her metal axe. "Woo, calm down. you're getting fired up there. And imagine if this whole arena burned up, it woudn't be fun.." Within a nanosecond, Vertic kicks the samurai (in some way, at least) then disappeared out of sight..well maybe only, Samurai's eyes are pretty sharp, so he COULD know where Vertic now is, she was worried about that.

"Surprise!" Vertic was behind Samurai again. It looked like Samurai did burn her, but Vertic did manage to escape. "That was close, literally!" She ran swiftly in cricles around Samurai, hoping it will make him dizzy and let Vertic have a chance to at least deal damage.

The flames went straight into Vertic!...Wait no, did it? Vertic already ran out of sight, where is she? All that Samurai can see is probably just dust on the ground along with a piece of cast wrapping left from her hooves. Vertic must have ran away..somewhere or..burned...

"Too bad, so sad." Vertic has already swiftly ran away, she is behind Samurai, ready to attack from behind. Vertic slashes Samurai's back hooves. If Vertic is lucky enough, she'll be able to leave a scar on Samurai's back hooves, if not. It would slightly damage him and only leave Samurai a cut. "Who says a mare can't have it all?"

What I see to my left is a potato in it's natural habitat. A potato is really wild and rare creature that only live in your mum's bed. (Just kidding, I see my AoT water bottle)

Vertic opens the door "Oh..sorry! I was just checking my stuff." "Wait..who are you? One of the staff or something?" She tilts her head to one side, raising her eyebrow. She followed Tune to the coloseum."Oh hey there Samurai pony." (Word count .-. W H Y  Y O U  S O  A N N O Y I N G)

"Number 3? Number 3..number 3...number 3.." Vertic browsed through the rooms. "Aha!" She looked at the poster. "Samurai Equine..that Japanese pony?" Vertic busted the door open "Not bad.." She looked at the room. She then takes out her axe and dagger, starting to sharpen them.

"Hmmph, I'll show them what I've got." Vertic smiled, she walked up to the dummies, preparing her dagger and axe.

SWOOSH!

Vertic jumped up and almost sliced off the dummy's head. "Ugh..fail" She attacks the dummy again, this time, she chopped off the dummy's arm. "Aww yeah!" She reads her scoring on the monitor

"Strength: 4.3/10 ; Speed: 9.1/10 ; Agility: 6.5/10..that sucks..I need to do better, get yourself together, Vertic!" She knocked her own head. Vertic was brought down by her scores.

(Same like RAGE said, please don't say the Vertic is Mary Sue, her title is "The Swift Attacker" after all.)

After the sign up, Vertic decided to see who she will be fighting with, "Samurai Equine? So I'll be fighting with a samurai eh? Interesting.." Suddenly, a melody plays.."Huh..? What?" She followed where the music was coming from.

"Ey, unicorn, could you please stop that music? It's annoying me." She asked the samurai, having no idea he will be her opponent.
