Okay, I can see why people dislike the 'Over a Barrel' episode just for how insensitive that ending was.

  had many annoying portrayals and was vindictive towards Gilda despite being the one to cause the conflict in 'Griffon the Brush Off'.
  
  I still have five more episodes to go for season 1 however.

  Wait wait wait. I can understand the first two, but may I have an explanation for "Dragonshy?" She was a saint in that episode, volunteering to go on the trek she likely wouldn't want to go on and even taking the blame for Fluttershy's fall that knocked all of them down. Hell, she was even a good sport after losing to Pinkie 35 times in a row in Tic Tac Toe.
  
  I'm befuddled on how Rarity was bad in that episode.

  I didn't like how fixated she was on a scarf and Tiara, annoying, but what was more damning was the fact she allowed her greed for the diamonds get to her when she almost had the Dragon about to consider leaving only for him to get pissed off and kick her out, and she complained about losing the chance for the diamonds instead.
