Just a question, what are people's impressions on Slice of Life. It seems I'm seeing a vocal group of how bad it is. I'm wondering how it is?

  In Slice of Life, a lot of the references could legitimately happen in the world of FIM, and they helped progress the flow the story.
  
  In Dream, the references are filler. They interfere with the story.

  I know i am late, but you know what they say better late then never.
  
  It kind of boggles my mind why people hate Slice of life so much, while the dream episode (yes, i forgot the name sorry) gets praised by the same guys who SoL. Like DQ said, the refs worked in SoL, while the refs in the dream episode didn't, while also being not a good episode in general (Twilight getting rid of Lunas trauma in record time.)
