  1. Currently I have 5, four of which I forgot to remove, while the last I haven't watched yet. I usually browse through my subscriptions and add interesting videos to watch later, then sit through 5-15 videos. This has become a routine I do every day
  2. I would have no problem with this, I mean, a human is just neurons programmed to love you as well. Difference being that the human would love you based on your actions, while the robot would love you unconditionally. I can't say for sure if it would bother me in the long run, but I'd definitely give it a try.
  3. Despite a lot of people know I'm a brony, I don't want to openly show it. I do however have a MLP ringtonge. A piano version of Pinkie's Lament, the part when she remembers back on her parties. It's a master piece in my opinion, and it's way to obscure for people to recognize. Check 1:17 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwxIlt_tELU&feature=youtu.be&t=1m17s
  4. I have finally got a new computer! Bought a used one, and got a great deal. I first bought a old, but upgraded rig with an i5-3470 and GTX 260 for 2500kr and then I bought a used HD 7950 for 1000kr So I ended up paying 3500kr or 430$ which is a steal here in Norway. Final specs: GPU: HD 7950 (which is essentially a R9 280) CPU: i5 3470 @ 3.2GHz RAM: 16 GB (4x4) @ 1333MHz SSD: 80 GB Monitor: XL2411Z @ 144Hz Those are the important specs
  5. Epic bump Jeg er norsk, om det fortsatt er noe interesse
  6. Norway has some of the best water in the world, even sold as exclusive water to other countries, so I have no problem drinking from the spring It's because Norway is an very uneven country with a lot of mountains, so the water gets naturally filtered
  7. This is so awesome! Only thing I'd complain about is some of the characters not bein cut correctly, having white spots around them But it is so cool that I recognize many of these characters, and it just makes me feel all fuzzy on the inside
  8. Well, I guess it has to be "Norwegian waffles"
  9. I definitely break that stereotype. I'm a student, so I've got a lot of friends I study with. Every weekend I go out drinking or other social activity. I live in a collective (don't know if that's the correct English term) with 100 other people! Here there is something happening basically every day. It's got a shared kitchen, so I'm essentially always social while cooking, which I like Ironically I'm a bit introverted, so I often get too much and like to withdraw to my room. Problem is that they like to drag me out again :diamondtiara:
  10. I haven't been to svalbard, I live Trondheim. I'd imagine it's way too cold up there, it's basically no summer to speak of Have you ever been there?
  11. I live in Norway and can't say I have much incentive to leave It would be cool to live in the US, since it's the technological capital of the world. But work and culture wise it's not for me. I'd maybe also want to live in a hotter area, because of the cold winters here in Norway. The problem is that even the summers here are at times too hot for me, I do like it a bit cold. I'm Nordic after all
  12. Hehe, no doubt mine as well Also Lelouch and Itatchi And The Dude
  13. Best fandom! I have seen them all, except 2 Which is the one at 1:04 with the dudes singing friendship is magic? And the one with at 1:51 with the 3 OC ponies walking and talking?
  14. What do you have in your PC right now? As general as this question goes, I'd say the GPU
  15. Do you have a link to this? That's a first generation intel processor, and given we are now at the 6th generation, I don't know if I'd recommend it. It does however depend on what else is in there, and I could check how it holds up
  16. this is me Usopp from One Piece
  17. Here is one I heard a kid say, and it's kinda funny: "Dad, should I bike straight ahead even if it's the end of straight ahead?" I actually write down some quotes I come up with, so here is some: - "People sacrifice the things they love, in order to make money, telling themselves they will buy happiness" - "The grass is always greener on the other side, happiness is when you don't notice" - "It looks messy in my room, but it's actually tidy" (I'd like feedback on this one, as I don't know if people will get it )
  18. What about the last empty one? I loved how the wind blew and made their mane look epic
  19. 1. The Cutie Map Political correctness? Social commentary? Brainwashing? Crepy town? Epic Pinkie moments? Mane 6 playing each other off great? What's not to like? 2. The Cutie Re-Mark (wow, first time I have loved the overall story of a season) This could have been a very forced episode, and Starlight's past was very rushed. But the episodes managed to keep it fresh and thrilling, and seeing the other worlds with the alternative mane 5 were great. It felt a bit like fan service, but I can't say other than that I loved it. Also part 2 alone contains the most cute faces in the entire show. 3. Crusaders of The Lost Mark This sold me on all the great songs, except the vote song. Some of the best in the series, and a great conflict with Diamond Tiara. Also of course the cutie marks 4. The Mane Attraction Songs... again, and finally seeing Applejack as I like her... Which I can't even remember when was last time. Avoiding the stereotype of Rara forgetting or not caring about Applejack made this episode soooo much more than the cliche crap it could have been. Big thumbs up there. 5. Slice of Life I mean come on.
  20. Next to the PC? Nope. Or maybe for 5 min until the water heats up, but I have never heard of anything like this as a solution, wouldn't recommend
  21. The 212 evo is a clasic, popular CPU cooler, and that's about what I know about coolers. I do know that having 3 fans in the case is enough. Adding more gives very little extra cooling. In pre-builts I guess they should have sufficient cooling. Adding a CPU cooler can be done if you plan to overclock.
  22. GHz is a factor, however not all GHz are created equally, so it is not a good way to determine the power of a CPU. It's only a factor if you are comparing two of the same CPU's which runs at different GHz. For instance when overclocking. The i3 is unfortunately not overclockable. The 860k is however. The i5 (if it's name ends with a K) is overclockable. I wouldn't worry about overclocking, without good enough cooling, there isn't too much to gain anyway. A quick guide to finding a good pre-built would be something like this: What is the graphics card? If your budget is 450, I'd look for a 750ti, 760, 950, 960, r7 360 or r7 370. Any of these are good cards in that budget. Then if it has a good graphics card, check the CPU. An i5 is awesome, an i3 will perform good, and an 860k will be alright. Also an FX-6000 or above will work And an A8 or above will work. Don't worry about the motherboard in pre-builts. They don't give any more performance. Only if you are overclocking you should consider a quality motherboard. That become a lot of names and specifications... sorry You can send me links, and I can review the PCs for you if you want. From the ones I have seen, this is still my recommendation.
  23. The i3 is indeed worse compared to an i5. However in a 450 budget the money is better placed in a good graphics card. The pentium has 2 cores (edit: the pentium II I mean, as you mentioned) The i3 has 2 cores and 2 threads The i5 has 4 cores The i7 has 4 cores and 4 threads A thread is a virtual core, so the computer interprets the i3 as a quad-core. In the games coming out today, and in Battlefield 4 also, it's advantageous to have a quad-core (4 core) processor. When it comes to the AMD side, they are falling behind, since they haven't released a new CPU architecture in 2+ years. The only CPU I'd recommend from them at this point is the 860k, which is a very cheap quad-core. An i3 will still beat it however. :grin2: The main takeaway from all this however, is that the graphics card is the most important thing for gaming. It handles all of the graphic, while the CPU is more or less just support. That's why you should always get a dedicated graphics card, and not one that is built into the CPU, as it performs much worse. My second recommendation has a GTX 750ti, which is a solid card which will perform similarly to current gen consoles. If you however decide to build your own PC, as @, mentioned, then I could help you chose the parts that gives the most performance for the money
