  1. Just giving this thread a quick bump to let anyone and everyone reading know the story is now complete. I may add an epilogue to it, but it's pretty much done at this stage.
  2. A Doctor Whooves tale starring the Seventh Doctor. The Doctor goes to Whinnychester Castle to pay a visit to his former companion, the Alicorn Celestia of Equestria. What starts as a social call becomes something else when the Doctor learns Celestia's sister has been working herself to exhaustion investigating something that has been attacking ponies in their dreams. But even that is simply a prelude to something far more sinister. Something that will require the Doctor, Celestia, and the captain of Princess Luna's night guard to travel through the dreams and memories of the Princess of the Night. On their quest, the trio will uncover the origins of great darkness and maybe, just maybe, avert the calamity of Nightmare Moon. Read it Here
  3. I agree about shipping Cheese and Pinkie. Depending on how it was done it may work, but to me it has too much of a teacher and student vibe. Everything Cheese does is learned from Pinkie Pie and her antics. Like you said, he idolizes her and made himself into a basically male Pinkie (right down to Cheesy Sense). EDIT: Another thought that occurs to me is that in order to be properly shipped, they'd have to be equals. Cheese doesn't necessarily view himself that way in regards to Pinkie (your idol vibe and my teacher-and-student vibe). Pinkie may have a degree of this too since Cheese showed superior party skills throughout the episode.
  4. First time doing a request like this, so not sure what's absolutely necessary, but I have the general idea of what I'm after: I'm looking for some cover art for my Doctor Whooves fanfic An Unearthly Filly. At the very least I'm after a pic featuring the Doctor and his companions (who in this case are Big Macintosh, Cheerilee, and an semi-OC earth pony named Perennial). What should be noted however, is that this is not the general Doctor Whooves everyone uses (i.e. it's not Time Turner). In this case, I'm looking for a pony version of the First Doctor, as the fic in question is basically a ponified version of the first Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child. The idea I'm after for the Doctor as an elderly unicorn, wearing the First Doctor's costume from the waist-up and one of his iconic items (a ring with a large stone on it) worn over his horn. He would still have the hourglass Cutie Mark associated with Doctor Whooves. The OC I call a semi-OC because she's a stand-in for the Doctor's companion Susan Foreman (his granddaughter). Her cutie mark is that of a wristwatch (inspired by a deviantartist who did pics w/ the First & companions as ponies). One detail though is I'd like her mane done up in a 50s/60s style like Susan's was. No special color scheme in mind for each (I realized in hindsight I never actually described them with any specific colors) so that can be up to the artist. Though I do imagine something on the white or greyish side for the Doctor, since he's both elderly and the First's episodes were back in the black-and-white days. Big Mac & Cheerilee should also be in the pic, as they star in the story as the stand-ins for companions Ian Chesterton & Barbara Wright. Beyond that, I'll leave it to how much or little detail the artist(s) want to add.
  5. I don't necessarily hide it, but I don't go out of my way to bring it up either. Most people who know are either bronies themselves or at least know the show. If I hide it from anyone, it'd probably by my 3 nieces (aged 9-13), more because I don't feel like having to explain it if I don't have to. Though if I did I'd only have to point to my books of Yotsuba&! and Azumanga Daioh, since I mainly like them for the same reason (funny, cute, and can be quite clever)
  6. I'd forgotten about Team Four Star. A friend and I watched our way through seasons 1 & 2 of Dragonball Abridged and had a great time with it. I'm following season 3 but buddy's gonna wait a bit before he starts watching. Adding them to my own list.
  7. Since nobody's found it yet, this particular beauty, iirc, is the result of hiring family to do the voice acting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bangt7d9vGA (can't find where you can post the link and get the video to come up like in above posts)
  8. My first & favorite YouTuber is easily Jesse Cox. Also enjoy the Cobalt Sky & the Awkward Reviewer's MLP Blind Commentaries. Most recently I have discovered the Game Grumps & have enjoyed their vids immensely.
  9. Right now I've been playing Batman Arkham City, with some Dead Space 2 on the side and some World of Warcraft if I just feel like killing time.
  10. My most recent game completion was Batman Arkham Asylum on PC. now I'm getting a start on Arkham City with a bit of Dead Space 2 on the side.
  11. Zecora became my crime fighting sidekick. With her at my side, there's no criminal I can't lick
  12. Hm, my first thought went to Ivory Keys. You can also go with Ticklish Ivory (since piano playing is sometimes called tickling the ivories). Grand Ivory or Grand Keys (out of Grand Piano). Or possibly Harpsichord
  13. Already posted the first one in the fanfiction section of the forum. May take your tip and add links to them in my signature.
  14. I use "Zeidoktor" on Steam. I'd love to get a chance to play more with folks in multiplayer and/or co-op games. I also have "sgamer82" on Xbox Live & PS3, but I'm not on either much for online play (In fact my niece uses the xbox for Left 4 Dead 2 more than I do).
  15. Companion wise, I've always been fond of Martha Jones. She had a level of competence I never really felt from the others (twice being able to go solo for a long period of time without the Doctor and going up against the Master, to boot). Though for companion pairs I'm fond of the Third Doctor & Jo Grant and the Seventh Doctor & Ace. Overall, favorite Doctors would bee Eleven, Seven, and Three. Though I'm eager to see what the Twelfth will be like.
