So I just got the automated welcome PM after signing in. I have had this account for at least 4-6 months now, is it because I haven't signed in for a while? I forgot about these forums for about a month or two, haven't posted here since June or July I think. 

The menu music in Payday: The Heist is absolutely amazing, I just hear it too often because I can never find a game.

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One

As much as I hate to say it. I hate where the Ratchet & Clank series is going now. A Crack In Time was the peak of the PS3 games and after that it all seems to be going downhill.

Insomniac had to make the game a shitty co-op game, and they had to change all the character designs to look absolutely retarded.

Holy circlejerk. Man this is the largest circlejerk I have ever seen on these forums. I mean, I don't like the Xbone either. I have always been with Playstation but man this thread is a massive circlejerk.

No! Don't you fucking dare try to bring Nova down to the levels of them. Don't even try to compare them. Don't plop Nova into the cesspool category of PewDiePie and Tobuscus. 

My main one however is Dear Esther. Oh my, thank game was so bad that I'm not sure that it can even be counted as a game! The developers tried to go for this whole "atmospheric" thing but that's not what games are about. The fact you can only move your character around (very slowly as well) just makes it walking simulator and the game didn't even look that good.

All the hipsters raved about it being so good and having some kind of ''deeper meaning'' when in reality there was absolutely fucking nothing.

Oh really? So then how come all of the fungus head enemies kill you in 1 command grab? how come you can get a dead game cause you ran out of shivs? Why are the shooting mechanics bad in single player? 

1. The clickers kill you in 1 hit because it is more challenging that way. You can't let them grab you.

2. No, YOU ran out of shivs. You are supposed to keep them for whenever you need them. And not once in the actual story mode do you need a shiv to progress further.

3. The shooting mechanics are fine. Joel only sways his weapon around because he is a normal person. In real life, when you hold a gun, do you have it sit perfectly still or do you slightly have your arms move? It is for extra immersion. And once you have enough supplements you can upgrade that so you have less of that weapon sway.

I'll admit RE1, 2, & 3 were the best, but that doesn't make Last of Us any more of a bad game. 

You don't need training to shoot a gun. Maybe heavy guns like LMGs, RPGs, or Snipers, but regular pistols and shotguns? Not really.

Shooting a gun is harder than just pointing and shooting you fucking idiot. Go play Call of Duty and stop complaining about a great game because it doesn't suit your little fanboy mind.

I just finished the game this morning. It was an overall amazing experience but the ending left a little more to be desired. Maybe it was because they are setting up for a sequel? (I hope)

Holy shit after seeing the new multiplayer gameplay and seeing them take the elevator to the top of the skyscraper and parachuting off and watching it collapse. Fucking sold me. Now that I got a new PC I am surely buying this.

I was suprised that nobody had made a thread about this game yet, this game has been super hyped up and I am looking forward to it, and it comes out 

next week on Friday! I honestly cannot wait to play it. This game has already received 27 perfect review scores.

So how do you guys and girls feel about Call of Duty: Ghosts being a cross gen game? meaning it is coming to current gen and next gen platforms.

Not very suprised, since Activision will milk it for all its worth. Releasing it on next gen consoles and current platforms is one of the ways to do that.

 

That would be MW3 gameplay. Not Ghosts. Silly, ghosts is not the same game as mw3, it's a new game they are making I bet you're just as excited as I am to see how all the new it guns and new skins and stuff will look!!!! It's sooo cooool

And by ''new engine'' they probably just mean they're using the exact same engine as now but making it for the new consoles, it will probably include minor graphical changes but that's gonna be it.

I disagree, i thought black ops 2 was the most balanced cod out of all of them. Please... i beg of you, don't give me that "OH COD 4 WAZ ZE BEST" stuff... because if really was the best, then there would still be thousands of people playing it, it had its fair share of flaws... or have you forgotten the MP5, M16, grenade spam? 

 

I enjoy black ops 2, maybe not as much as i enjoyed mw2 but still, i have fun. 

I'm not going to say COD4 was the best in the entire series, it was mediocre at best. I bought I bought Black Ops 1 and got bored of it in about 2 months, next year I got MW3 and I couldn't stand it for even a few hours. It was so mind numbingly boring, the spawns and maps were absolutely horrible. After that I was just gave up on the CoD franchise because we all know it's gonna be some shitty rehash every time it gets released. Fuck Activision.

All of the Ratchet & Clank games. My favorite series of all time, a reason why I love it is because of the great music.

What a terrible trailer... might aswell not have released one, this is the shit that sort of makes me hate fps games now adays. I mean what does this trailer say? I could deduce more from a still image than i could from this entire trailer. Its dumb, its not well crafted, its not funny, its not interesting, its just vague dialogue that is said in low gruff voice to add some sort of drama. 

 

Ugh... look at the black ops 2 release trailer, 100x better, CAUSE IT ACTUALLY SHOWS SOMETHING

 

But honestly, i have looking forward to the new graphics engine, however, there are rumors flying around that it is just another slightly large upgrade to the crappy old quake engine that has been used for YEARS!

Even if the black ops 2 trailer showed gameplay, and even if it is 100x better. We all still knew the game would be complete bullshit.

Oh boy. Looks like Activision and Infinity Ward are funneling more shit into the gaming industry. Because we didn't ALREADY have enough Call of Duty sequels. Fuck Activision in their ass.

The animation in the trailer is surprisingly really good, and the writing ain't half bad.  If this translates into the whole movie it could be enjoyable.  Just have to get a good plot that works in the 1.5-2 hour timeframe.

 

One thing that makes me scratch my head in wonder is if this will even be a success commercially.  I mean, Ratchet & Clank is great, and by no means an unheard of franchise.  But even if the movie is fantastic, how many people do you actually think will see this movie?  How much of the general public has played it, and how many would actually be interested?

Well if they can make games with 6-8 hour single player storylines I'm sure they can make a movie that lasts 1.5/2 hours. I hope they can atleast.

That's a Machinima mini-series and not an actual movie. There is going to be a full length movie released in theaters. Just telling you.

TJ Fixman (the main writer at Insomniac) will be writing the script for this movie. Yay for more hope that it has a chance of being a good movie.

There are thousands of different songs in this fandom (alot of which aren't very good), you only mentioned about 9 out of the thousands in the fandom.
