  1. Amber stopped walking abruptly as she reached the forest, and breathed in the air deeply as she reminded herself about the nature around her. It seemed that she had forgotten the beauties surrounding her, and how lucky she was to have access to places like this. The girl's heels hit the cold, cobble path as she lowered her hand to her belt, looking up to the clear skies lying above her. Looking forward, she would aim the PokéBall at the grass, blinking gently. The last time she had released her Pokémon was approximately an hour ago, while they all gathered for a lunch break. Of course, prior to this she had exited the mall, where she bought the food for them - she didn't really bring cooking equipment around with her anyway, and she couldn't be bothered to go all the way back to school to get some. The girl breathed in, re-summoning her positive attitude as one by one, her beloved Pokémon emerged from their residences. "Hey, guys.." she smiled, chuckling as they leaped onto her. "Alright, alright. We relaxed quite a bit an hour ago, but right now we need to get back to business and practice our skills, and possibly develop some for the future. Understood?" The girl's finger pricked up as she directed the Pokémon who nodded in understanding.[/font] "Today I will be developing on each of your skills.." the girl looked over the Pokemon, then looking at Rattata. "Hmm. Seeing as you've been doing well with your skills so far, let's improve on defending against your weaknesses - fighting Pokémon I believe." Rattata looked up at Amber in awe - how did she remember all this information? She seemed to be more organized than usual. "Hmm.. Machamp, I choose you!" she would cry, as he would emerge from his Pokéball. Rattata would cringe slightly, aware that the other Pokémon had an advantage. "Rattata - don't feel or act intimidated in the slightest. I'm going to teaching you some defense, alright? Now, Machamp, I want you to try your best to block, and defend yourself." Amber would notice him ignoring her actions any way, as expected. He didn't really listen to her much any way. "Rattata, use your focus sash and perform Endeavor!" The Pokémon would do as instructed, looking directly at Machamp in preparation. As he hadn't been instructed to move, Rattata would feel the connection, looking at the trainer and tired after Machamp's attack. He would then look over, noticing that his partner is also tired. Amber would smile, looking at them both. "Now, Rattata! Finish him - use quick attack!" Machamp would look up exhausted and unprepared. His last ounce of strength would be used up, as he would look fall upon the ground, drained of energy. "Sorry Machamp," the girl would smile, knowing that her practice was a success. "I promise you both extra treats after we finish practice." Raising their Pokéballs into her hands, she would summon them back into place, allowing them to rest for now. It was only that she wanted to clear up one of Rattata's weaknesses, so that she could carry on training with the rest of them. About three hours later, training was complete, and all of them seemed to be tired out. "Alright, fine, we'll all go back to the academy." After placing them in their Pokéballs, Amber picked up her bag and pulled both straps over. It would be quite a distance to get there, so she would need to go on all fours until she reached the gates. Once she arrived at the school, she looked upon her outfit in disgust, at both how she stank and how her clothes looked. After a quick change and applying some perfume, Amber was restored to her previous beauty as she entered the school, pushing her silver hair around her shoulder. As she approached the doors, she noticed another gijinka in the corner of her eyes. The scent of caffeine and cigarette smoke swelled in the atmosphere as she stopped and turned to her left, watching the figure that leaned against the wall, smoking casually. Her head turned steadily, and at once she recognized the boy. It must of been Daniel, the Chandelure giijnka. The girl smiled, clasping her bag and turned to her side. "Daniel," she said in that mellow turn of voice, crossing her arms. "I saw you training, eh, yesterday? It was pretty good, I'll admit. I'll see you at the training sessions, I'm sure?" she'd comment, arching an eyebrow and smiling, ending her sentence in a slight chuckle. "Well, I've got to go any way and take a shower after training.. so, see ya." Amber left, pushing the great door past and entering the school. At once, she was gone in the school, as she slid her Pokéballs into her satchel.
  2. Honestly, Amber wasn't looking to meet anyone. But it wasn't a heavy issue, was it? She just needed to.. slip away. Alright then, fine. She wasn't entirely 'glamorous' in all aspects. Fine - to be straightforward, she read. A lot. While most of the girls she would converse with were more concerned with the way they looked rather than the way they thought, Amber was an individual that took more time reading than organizing her clothes and hair during mornings. One of the graphic novels she was currently finishing, well reading for the 700th time, was '20th Century Boys'. She was supposedly up to the point where she's learning more about Kenji's amnesia. Once Amber arrived at the bookstore, she shooed the eyes of some of the boys with a cold stare, and approached the comic section. Pulling on her reading glasses, she analysed through the comics set in rows with her index finger and thumb delicately. She was sure that the mint Batman comic was delivered today, and it seemed that she arrived just on time.
  3. Raising the napkin to her mouth, Amber looked to the people sat in the booth. It was nice meeting them and all, but judging by the time that her PokeWatch viewed, she couldn't 'hang' with them for any longer. Amber placed her hands on the table, pulling herself out of the seat, and pulled her satchel over her left shoulder. Breathing in, she looked down at them and began to talk, shifting her lips from pursed position. "It looks like I might have to meet my colleagues now, although it might be a little early. Then again, they are probably on the other side of the mall by now. Or if I am mistaken, probably still looking at the same shop window, wandering whether they should purchase the same top." Slowly, she would pull on her gloves and slide around the corner of the booth. She would neaten her skirt, patting it, and would wave her head carefully. One hand would be placed over the side of her bag, and the girl would begin walking carefully out of the restaurant, removing the false smile off her face at once like a tacky sticker. When she exited, she noticed Dusk waiting outside of the restaurant - of course, she knew him. As mentioned, she knew practically everyone, but mostly the people to watch out for or avoid. Not that he was a threat, or anything. Playfully, she slid a wink in his direction, and continued walking towards the end off the mall. That jacket definitely suited him - she wondered where he must of bought it.
  4. @@Suitaloo "Amber," the girl replied, and continued eating. She looked at Samantha, and replied to her quickly. "I believe she's a student from that school, the Pokemon Gijinka Academy. A freshman student," she said, sure that she had seen the girl from somewhere in the past. "I've seen her around that area a few times, usually in small groups." "We aren't really friends as we've barely spoken. Well, most students don't straight up approach me at first."
  5. @ The girl placed her silverware deeper into the pie, and looked over to the girl. She didn't know much about her, but decided to keep up the positive reputation, and smiled at her, although her body language wasn't of the best type. "Hi," she replied reluctantly, but hiding this in her positive tone. She quickly looked elsewhere and gently placed the fish segment into her mouth, pursing them and chewing silently.
  6. @ @Suitaloo,@Ampharos,@Roxas XIII The girl's attention was easily stolen by the other, who waved her arms in the air as though she was insane. The Glameow gijinka turned her head to her side, looking round to Zoey. She was with other people, supposedly from the same school. Amber lifted her satchel away from underneath the table. She must of been kidding herself. She tucked the cat food pack into the bag, shutting it so that the corner of the wrapper would be poking out of her bag. It was some luxury cat treats, Nature's Menu, actually. It would seem strange at first, but then remembering that her gijinka was partly a cat relative, it seemed easy to understand. Amber was feeling a bit more, sociable, today and didn't really mind making friends with a girl that might of been a year or two below her.. She moved onto the seat that the girl had just neatly patted, brushing the back pockets of her jeans. She pushed back of her back, then the other side lingering over her shoulder. She looked that the girl, breathing in gently, and smiled. The girl looked down at the large appetizer before her, and scratched the back of her head nervously. She didn't particularly like egg rolls, so she brought out what she had ordered, the crevettes, and the trout pie she had previously ordered. She quietly ate, and her eye flinched as the girl spoke with her mouthful, while forcing the egg roll she had just ate down her throat. Across from where she sat was the girl from before, that had accused her of theft at the cashier. Amber sighed mentally, and looked away from her, back to what she had been eating. Already, the girl was filled with regret.
  7. Amber was sat at the restaurant, doing nothing much. It seemed that she was writing something on a piece of paper, constantly looking back at her glamoured PokeWatch - she didn't seem to be in a rush though, and was consumed into her own little world in the restaurant booth. She'd spent many hours standing about with friends she'd left a while off, window shopping, then doing some of their own. Her scarlet lips parted as she looked across the restaurant, at these people in their conversation and meals, nodding assertively to each other while grinning stupidly, the expression on their faces odder than they'd probably thought. She smiled gently to herself, and then watched the waitress approach her. Raising her hand, she spoke to the woman in her best manner. She knew that working in restaurants was a bit of a pain. Especially after the work experience with her friend, Sam. "Simply some crevettes, please. Maybe a fish lattice too, yeah, please," she nodded, then handed the woman a generous amount. "Have a nice day." As the waitress drifted off to another table, Amber's attention did the same. She noticed the girl from before, that she'd taken an interest in. Zoey, she recalled. The girl was still slightly stressed from the event at the boutique, and wished to avoid conflict with others at the moment. Amber's visual focus changed suddenly, however her thoughts did not. Why did this girl bother to help her, and how was she so sociable? Her eyes fell back upon the notepad, and she picked up the fountain pen, continuing to write.
  8. I'm going to actually contribute this year, and wear red for Valentine's Day.. to show that I've been hurt too many times before.
  9. Amber brushed the dust off her shoulder, and exited the shop after the girl in another direction. She'd left with more than she had hoped for, and smiled gently to herself. She felt the need to take a need, and walked over to the nearest bar, guarding her bags with her tail as she dropped them to the ground. Zoey seemed nice. She smiled at the girl at the counter who was slightly shorter and a beige-blonde. Taking the dark coffee drink, she replaced it with the correct amount of money and began walking towards the pokeWatch stall. She was meaning to get a new one anyway.
  10. @, @@Suitaloo The girl smiled at her. The Zoey girl was certainly much different, and Amber liked her, and her style. Peering over at the other girl, and frowning slightly, she sighed. She watched the girl leave, and then glanced at the other. She was great. 'Amber,' the girl replied, taking her hand and shaking it gently.
  11. @ The girl raised an eyebrow, looking at the two. They were both ginjika's it seemed, and were slightly familiar. In her mind, she snapped her fingers and it came to her. Students from the school. She looked at the man, back at them, and blushed slightly, wavering her hands. In her mind, she scoffed. Covering it up wouldn't be difficult - after all, they did seem slightly younger. And the girl had gone through situations like this in the past, and if the girl were to question theft or some sort, she would simply refer to an old self trick - Well, I'm an elder student with high grades and a high status, the fact that people still do that kind of thing today brings me chills.. Ha, yes. It would all be easy. 'Oh my.. No, no. I know what your thinking. It's not what it looks like, honestly.' The girl's eyes would droop slightly, and she would look back at her. She monitored the male at the desk, in her head, avoiding quick glances. He was far from attractive, and that she could add to her story. 'Look, I know the guy from the past and that he was working here.. and he's a real pest. I know I shouldn't be saying that kind of stuff about people but, every time I shop here, he's a real pervert and I've just been using attract to shut him up when I come in here. 'I guess your compliment just exemplifies that.. And it's always boys like this chasing after me.' Removing her hand from her arm, she gulped hopefully and looked back at the girl, dropping her sad tone slightly and turning to an optimist. She smiled at the girls and changed the subject, waving her hand symbolically as to wave off her worries. 'Ha, it's amazing how I still keep coming back. I guess that shows how much I love the brand.' She looked at her jumper carefully, smiling at the entwined gems.
  12. The girl rolled her eyes heavily at the man. She honestly didn't see any reason to stand by his point or argument, and turned to her right, clutching the several bags in her hands. What? The situation wasn't that bad, and honestly, she would have had to do what she had done in order to purchase, well actually, receive the items. And who was this man? A cop, supposedly. Well, at least he behaved like so. The girl pushed her grey curls around her shoulder, and rotated her ears to the side, hearing what the man had to say to a better volume. Although, she highly doubted that he would make her change her mind. Curiously, she looked back at the young male at the counter. The slender, bread-headed male stood there, in a daze. Ha, 'Attract' sure does it's charm with the younger ones. 'It's goddamn stealing!' he would say sharply, under his breath. He was sure not to cause a commotion in the middle of the store's hour of highest population. 'Are you dumb or something? Eh? Face me when I'm speaking to you young lady! You must be a student or something, I'll contact your school and parents if you do not return those items.. Hell, you needn't wait! I'll contact the nearest school straight away!' The girl raised an eyebrow at the man with a strict and serious tone. Despite this, she didn't fret and turned to face him as he recalled the number of the nearest school - which she knew would be the Pokemon Gijinka Academy. He looked at the girl and his expression soften as he looked upon her gentle expression, which radiated into his iris. She gently raised a finger by her side and looked at him deeply, putting her ability to work. This would be a breeze. She quickly looked around, noticing that all into their own business. 'Sh ht. It's just a few things, nothing else. They'll be many other outfits, much more stock.. You needn't worry - am I right?' 'Yes.. you're right.' 'Good.' Gently, she tapped the man's head, as though he was a puppy who had just learnt a new trick. She squatted slightly, picking up the bags and turning back. Great, she had forgotten where she had been heading. At least it would only seem that she was talking to the officer on camera. But then, she noticed something that she must of missed when she was performing quick mental checks. Her left ear rotated a full 75° at the sound of a silent gulp. In the nearby shop it seemed. The girl froze. She whipped her head round, her cold eyes scanning towards the sound. It seemed that someone must of witnessed the event. And at once, their eyes met.
  13. @SkyHeart Peppy placed the drink back onto the table, looking at the mare. She must of been recently hired, or at least that was what she could figure from their conversation.. Pushing her hair out of her face, she replied gently to the pony. She seemed rather shy, or quiet - very different compared to the regulars of the bar. "Uh, I'm fine, thanks." She would shut the bag now, looking around the room. The glass would plash against the sides, and she would peer out of the window in thought. And what if she couldn't find Mystic Marilyn? What would she do? She would place her hoof on her chin, raising the glass to her mouth once more. If she couldn't find this pony, she would need to go back into the Everfree Forest once more in search of the object herself, and there was no certainty in finding it either. She looked back at the pony again, stood behind the bar, and forced a smile. Peppy guessed that she had to keep business going for them, so the barmaid would get something out of it. "Urm, I'll just take another 'The Magics' please," she would say, placing her hoof on the table and looking around for her quill.
  14. Peppy turned to the man, which she supposed must of been very drunk, but he didn't seem to mind at all about the drinks.. She nodded, and then turned back to the counter, taking the requested Sparkling Blue Cosmo. Honestly, she didn't mind a party, but wasn't completely in the mood. Her mane, a deep mahogany, shimmered in the bar light as she pulled the glass to her mouth. She felt the liquid travel down her throat and she would down it with ease. Turning her head to the high spirited stallion, she would push the glass to the side. "Eh, congratulations?" she would reply, forcing a smile. "And thanks." Downing the rest of the glasses' contents, Peppy would turn to her side, pulling her book from her saddle satchel. She would unfold her wing now, flicking the page and reading through thoroughly. "Right.. She told me to meet at this bar, I bet.." she would mumble to herself now.
  15. Peppy entered the bar, pushing the dirt off her shoulder. A small group of fillies were frustrating the squirrels living in the pine trees, and she had to go sort them out. Her mouth was dry and she was saturated with thirst - probably an apple cider, but most likely an alcoholic beverage. Placing her hoove on the door, she entered the bar, darkly lit. Her mane was faded in the light, and her expression, blank. The bar was both full and empty, the sound of a pony's raucous echoing about the room, while a pony couple was settled in the far back of the bar, indulged in - Peppy frowned and pushed the chill down her sign as the couple slobbered over each other, supposedly and probably deeply in love. She looked over the bar, stood to the far left end. Placing her hoof gently upon the table, waiting for service. Everyone seemed to be busy in their own conversation and business. Peppy felt against the fringe of her mane as she looked at the certificates and such decorated on the bar wall.
