What a race in the end! And lotta penalties!

 

RED BULL IS WORLD CHAMPION 2022! For the first time since 2013!

 

and then there is the cost gap decision still going on, but it sounds less and lesss likely championship points get taken either year. we will see.

Mercedes: Hamilton did what he could and was genuinly at one point close to get that first win this year. But Verstappen exists. Russell in the end manages to finish 5th, the last of the top 3 positions available. at this point hamilton got the upper hand on him after Russell beeing the more dominant one at the start of 2022.

Red Bull: Max is Max. Even a failed pit stop doesn't stopped him winning. Perez, having to start from further behind managed to finish 4th in the end, helping to make that constructors title safely sealed.

Ferrari: Leclerc beating Perez, helping him to be at least ahead again in the championship on Perez. Sainz by none of his fault fails to finish the 2nd race in a row, thanks to a double tagteam work from Mercedes. With that even the little hope on constructors title is gone and over.

McLaren: Norris with an amazing catch up in the end deservingly beeing best of the rest in the end. Ricciardo, on the other hand, had a standard McLaren day again after some good races. Only Latifi finished behind. Not helping catching up on Alpine again.

Alpine: Alonso scoring good points, despite the big crash he somehow got out with only some damage. But while he did not beeing fault for that, he hours later got a 30 second penalty for driving  with an unsafe car(The mirror that flew off eventually), throwing him out of the points, after Haas complained about it. That gave Ocon in the end a single point for Alpine, who ended up 10th after the penalty. EDIT: After a protest from Alpine and discussions Alonso keeps p7, ocon thus not getting a point.

AlphaTauri: Gasly had a terrible race, raining with penalties and no points. Tsunoda however ended up getting a few points at least for the team.

Aston Martin: Vettel had a great race, unfortunalty, like with Verstappen, he had a terrible pit stop throwing him out of points. but he fought back and last lap fighted Magnussen away for an amazing 7th place. Stroll, luckily okay, ended crashing with Alonso, beeng faulted for it with a grid drop next race had up then also a very good race. could been even more good points for Aston.

Williams: Albon looked good for points, in the end dropped quiet a bit tough and getting a penalty too for track limits. Latifi beeing Latifi, last and with a penalty ruining Schumachers race too.

Alfa Romeo: Bottas failed to finish again, this time it was his fault tough. From the Bottas glory at the start of the season isnt much left. Zhou ended up just barely missing out points, despite penaltys all around him.

Haas: Schumacher again with no points, but not really his fault, beeing bumped by Latifi. He got a penalty afterwards tough for leaving track so might not got points even if he did. Magnussen for once shined again in a race, just barely losing 7th on Vettel but still got his first points since races!
