I think it's because I remember when I was a kid, Cartoon Network would just air new episodes of all their shows during the summer and over advertise it like crazy.

It will be easier for my brain, since now the seasons will fully begin and end within one calendar year.

Season 5 will run entirely in 2015, both ending in 5. How convenient!

I guess I was wrong, then. I thought these channels would avoid the summer because of all of the other things competing for kids' time.

Pound Puppies used to air in the summer, back when MLP and LPS had the fall/winter schedule. LPS in its last season was a fall show but started in the summer in its current season.
