    I am by no means fond of the former USSR or the Eastern Bloc (East Germany, Yugoslavia, Hungary, etc.) but I have to admit I am very curious as to what its culture was like. Its art, its film, its music, poetry, literature. I know absolutely about it and I am curious to know what it was like.

      You can no doubt find some people and ask. The Soviet Union was in many ways a different flavor of Russian/eastern European culture.

Now if you want to know what a Mary Sue is allow me to point you in the direction of Clara Oswald from Doctor Who and Venus de Milo from Ninja Turtles The Next Mutation. Then you will know what a Mary Sue is.

      Donna Noble-Character Development for her was POINTLESS. Heck Clara's departure fixed a lot issue had with Donna's ending.

      The End of Time- Yeah that is not how I envisioned 10s ending

      Rose Tyler- A romantic interest for the Doctor done wrong

      The Master arc ending- Enough with the Jesus symbolism

      How RTD made the Daleks not scary anymore by using them in every finale expect 3 and End of Time

    I know people say Rainbow has regressed in character last episode but honestly I don't see it as the character has never matured to begin with.

      Heavily disagree, based on what we've seen on S6 alone. In Newbie Dash, she pulled the same recklessness she called out Lightning Dust for from WBA. In 28 Pranks Later, the episode pretty much forgot everything she learned from both MMDW and GtBO and redid every mistake the former did. In contrast, STFF actually felt like she grew up from her last Daring Do experience, she's still an uber fangirl, but she knows how to handle the situation this time

    I have to ask: What the hell are CBS and Paramount doing? Star Trek Discovery isn't even out yet and they're already screwing up with poor distribution in Canada and the US.

    You know, when some people say that a movie, tv show or episode of good show is outright terrible, my first instinct is to go "It can't be that bad" and most of the time I'm right.

      Yep. I can actually get enjoyment out of a lot of things deemed bad. EqG, Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel. Nowhere near as bad as people made them out to be. I have seen much much worse.
