    ...*sigh*...When I see a friend mine trying so hard to defend a friend of his I just don't have it me to prove to him that the friend he's defending is in fact a scumbag with plenty of proof to back it up.

      True. The man's entitled to his opinion about religion, but he can go right and jump out a window after doing something as horrible as that.

       

      It's one thing to say something ignorant about rape and then apologize, or to tell an inappropriate joke to the wrong audience (and again, apologize), but to actively berate a rape victim with language designed specifically to force her to relive her experience, and then /defend/ your actions... I believe that's worthy of a scumbag...
