I've noticed that whenever the AAA Game Industry makes a shooter they prefer to have America in the spotlight so my best guess is they don't use those because they can't use or glorify America and is therefore not profitable. I think there are plenty of conflicts that would be interesting and fun to use in games. You could still have America in the spotlight in a Korean war game.

Agreed and they could also use the American Revolution and Civil War. I'd like to see games in those. They have plenty of weapons they could use in a multiplayer mode in the latter as there were other weapons developed at the time besides muskets and cannons. (Lever Action rifles, Single Shot Carbines and Revolving Rifles)
