Yep, as much as it pains me to see the state of gaming like this, but the older games are certainly alot better than what the new ones are simply because they're often better and they don't charge you an arm and leg to get them.

Plus back in the PS2 era developers actually put their heart in the games they were making, now ever since the PS3 era started it's all been about making soulless games that "appeal to a wider demographic" and then see how much cash they can squeeze out of that game through DLC and passes.
