    Everytime I see people going "the fandom is dying" I immediately start thinking about the "Get ahold of yourself!" scene from Airplane.

      The difference is as the fandom becomes larger, not everypone can know everypone. There are simply to many people to befriend. This makes pones think the mlp fandom is "dying" when in actuality, it's growing.
