      Let's put it like this, while liking anthro above the age of children is considered a weird if not deviant hobby in the west, in Japan it's considered something for babies. An example is despite Sonic's fame and popularity being the most iconic sega character, in Japan he's not what Sega is famed for but rather their dating sims.
