      Modern tech for the most part. While there are benefits to being under a large company for movies (Special Effects) and games (Superior Graphics, MMOs) There's no real benefit to be under a label in the music industry. If you are a musician, you have the tools to make your music and the means of distribution (the internet) available to you.
