  1. Unless we're operating on Multiverse theory and those timelines still exist. Twilight might have gone back to her timeline but that doesn't mean she destroyed the other ones Starlight created. XD
  2. Which is why the US should be making guns more of a pain in the ass to get. Look at where they are now. They've had more mass shootings then there are days in the year (355) and they've had more mass shootings than the entirety of Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea combined.
  3. Well it looks like Transformers RID is ending at Season 2 with 19 episodes instead of the 3 seasons planed...I CALLED IT!! God Dammit Cartoon Network!!

Hmm, I've heard the recent tent one is good. As for DC and Marvel, I agree that DC has almost always kicked Marvel in the animation department.

It's really good. If you get the chance give it a shot. It's one of my favorite current Animated shows.

  4. It's not really that we have any disdain for Lauren Faust, we just don't really care what she or anyone else thinks of the show as it is now. If we enjoy the newer show, why does her opinion even matter? Why do the newer seasons need her blessing. Don't get me wrong I respect and appreciate Lauren for creating Friendship is Magic but I enjoy and prefer the newer seasons and I don't need her blessing to continue watching them. Really, from my point of view, the only person who's opinion matters is my own. If I enjoy a show I'm going to enjoy it. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
  5. That sounds like either an inter-franchise crossover or just bringing in FiM-spins on G3 characters. That's not a G3 episode.
  6. Why are we even comparing the two? I'm usually not against movie to television show comparisons but this isn't something like "Transformers Prime vs The Transformers Live Action Movies" or "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Cartoons vs The Movies", The Equestria Girls movies are part of the show! There's really no reason to compare them, you're comparing FiM to FiM! the EqG movies are just longer episodes of the same show!
  7. Ever get the feeling that a new wave of fans just replaced a lot of the Faust Era fans?

Some people say the show now is more pandering to fans, and well I agree there are some aspects of that, I also can see some aspects of it as a good thing. It allows them to broaden their demographic and tell more mature morals and branch out in stories.

The show does pander more to the fans yes, but honestly I never thought it was really a bad thing. Save for how it was used to take away needed time to tell a better story in Do Princesses dream of magic sheep, the fan service typically are nice shoutouts to the fandom, or are used to build the characters and the world of Equestria better.

Also, I agree very much on your point of it helping to broaden their appeal to more demographics as a good show should strive to achieve.

  8. Well that was pretty good. Though I have to say, this felt more like a series finale than a season finale. I would have been satisfied if they had ended it here as this season really had a sense of finality to it. The Cutie Mark Crusaders have their marks, the Mane 6 have accomplished their goals, Luna, Discord and Starlight Glimmer have been fully reformed. I'm not opposed to more Seasons of FiM but it really makes me wonder what they'll do for Season 6. Really, the only loose end the series has left is Equestria Girls. Everything will be wrapped up once Sunset Shimmer goes home. Where can they go from here?
  9. Honestly? After watching the Season 5 finale I would have been satisfied if they ended the show here. I'm actually surprised that they're going ahead with a Season 6 as Season 5 had a sense of finality to it. Every villain has been either beaten or fully reformed, Twilight has found her title as princess of friendship, the rest of the mane 6 have accomplished their goals and the crusaders have their cutie marks. Equestria Girls is the only loose end left. Once Sunset Shimmer goes home, everything will be wrapped up.
  10. I just saw the Season 5 finale. I have to say it was really good although it feels more like a series finale than a season finale. I'm surprised they're going ahead with a Season 6, Season 5 tied almost everything up in FiM rather neatly.

Which only makes you wonder what's in store in S6. With so many folks leaving and that main MLP film in 2017, it makes you wonder if perhaps season 6 is the final one for the tv series.

      The Coffee Pony

Probably, almost every story has been practically wrapped up. I'm sure they can think of more stories but this season really had sense of finality to it. Every villain has been either beaten or fully reformed, Twilight has found her title as princess of friendship, the rest of the mane 6 have accomplished their goals, the crusaders have their cutie marks. Really, Equestria Girls is the only big loose end. Once Sunset goes home, everything will be wrapped up.

  11. There was once a time where gaming on consoles was better than gaming on PCs. Nintendo Entertainment System > Commodore 64!

I personally don't care what I'm gaming on, as long as it's games.

  12. The best thing we can do is not fight at all. For the past decade and a half our countries have been fighting these wars in the middle east and all we've managed to accomplish is to further destabilize it and create an even bigger mess. What we should be doing is the following: 1. Completely isolating the middle east until it gets its crap sorted out. It's having all these issues with all these uprisings and civil wars and our countries' enemies are being funded by their business partners (Saudi Arabia). If the Saudis are going to shake our hand with one hand and stab us in the back with the other, they're not worth having as business partners. Any mid-eastern country caught funding these groups, we should cut them off and no longer do business with them. 2. Restrict all travel to or from the Middle East. No journalists, former soldiers or any of our civilians for that matter goes into the middle east for any reason whatsoever and certainly no one from their countries should come out of there. If anyone from the US, Canada or Europe comes out of the middle east they should get a thorough interrogation. With all the chaos going on in there, they have no business being there. 3. Regarding the refugees and immigrants. Again we should allow nobody coming from there until the Middle East gets its crap sorted out. As for the ones that are already in North America and Europe should be thoroughly screened. Anyone that's been discovered to have fought for any of the Guerrilla Groups in the Middle East should be deported. It doesn't matter if they were born here or not. Anyone from NA or Europe that went to the Middle East to fight in one of these guerrilla factions is a traitor to their country and should be stripped of their citizenship and deported. Also any refugees or immigrants that refuse to integrate to our societies, demand that the laws of the Muslim religion be allowed (Honor Killings, Sharia Law, etc.), and demand free benefits (free clothing, free housing, free money) should also be deported and cause trouble if their demands aren't met should also be deported. And of course any refugee who causes trouble and causes chaos should also be deported.
  13. Let's add another one to the tally of games that are both difficult and considered terrible that I'm good at!

  14. I Don't agree that MLP's been going downhill. DOCTOR WHO SERIES 7, 8 AND 9 HOWEVER!! (and this is someone who has seen every episode of Doctor Who. EVERY! SINGLE! EPISODE! Not just NuWho)
  15. No it's been part of the English language for centuries. It's been used to describe the friendly jabs two or more people make towards each other. The banter in the Avengers (Ex. Iron Man to Thor "Doth thy mother know you weareth her drapes") has been used as one of the reasons people love the movie. Believe me, it's not a new thing. For that matter, when did Squad became an internet term? That's also has been used for centuries, ESPECIALLY in the military as it means a small team of people sent to fulfill a task.
  16. I'm surprised nobody's talked about the Season 5 Finale promo yet!
  17. Honestly? I just see the EqG movies as just longer episodes of FiM.There's nothing really in there that says "It's not FiM", it still has all the elements of the show in there.
  18. While keep in mind, it really isn't an MLP game. It's set in its own world, it's not Equestria. Really it's an Original Project. After all Hasbro doesn't own a monopoly on Candy Colored Ponies, so it MIGHT be fine or at least would be if it wasn't walking the fine line on Trademark Infringement (Not-Celestia and Not-Luna and mentioning Starswirl by name). That and while it doesn't go by Friendship is Magic Lore, it's got quite a few elements of it so it's definitely on the more questionable side. That and while it looks more competent than most of the shit Steam is infamous for it's still got quite a few problems such as the Audio. That and judging by the Patrion Page I'm not sure if the Dev put anymore thought into it other then "GAME FOR BRONIES BY BRONIES!!"
  19. So I've noticed that another My Little Pony Game is up on Steam Greenlight! Starring Totally-Not-Celestia and Definitely-Not-Luna http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=557627228 You know, I said it with the last game and I'll say it here, Steam really isn't the place for fan-games! Alright, now in case the Dev happens to be here I have to say this: If you really do want to make a game based on Ponies, there's some stuff you really need to change. You're game's on a really thin line here. The characters REALLY look like Celestia and Luna and you mentioned Starswirl by name. And aside from that I'd really suggest you clean up the audio a bit. I don't mean to appear vicious here but, it has a few issues. And yeah Hasbro might be able to get you on the Character Designs. Let me give an example: There's a game I'm looking forward to called Last Year which was a 5 vs 1 Asymetrical Multiplayer game in which you play as 5 stereotypical teens (Jocks, Nerds, Popular Girl) up against a Slasher. Then a couple of months afterwards the Friday the 13th game was announced with the exact same concept and then C&D'd the project as one the Slashers you could play as looked Jason Voorhees so they ended up having to redesign the character. Just something I'd think about.
  20. And I see another MLP Game is up on Steam Greenlight starring Totally-Not-Celestia and Definitely-Not-Luna!

  21. If modern Console Gamers are peasants and Modern PC Gamers the Gaming Master Race where does that put the Classic Console and Classic PC (Commodore 64, DOS game players, etc.) gamers?

  22. Mind you though, I don't think Digimon has a Multiverse like Hasbro (or North American Cartoon Franchises in general) tends to have with their franchises but to be fair, you do have a point. Right after I posted my last statement my error hit me in the face via Transformers Generation 2 depending on what you go by (Through shows, it was just re-releases of Gen 1 episodes with bad CGI while the comics, which have earned the nickname Punisher Formers, are supposed to be reboot but the narrative implies its a sequel to the last gen)
  23. *looking at the posts stating that G5 should be a sequel/prequel* You guys do realize that a new Gen would be a complete reboot right? All the other gens after G1 were a reboot like all generations of Transformers after G1 and the Beast Era were reboots.
  24. Am I the only one who found the feud between the Hoofields and McColts fun to watch?

I didn't mind it too much and thought it was funny besides the stereotypical characterization.

It was fun, but sadly friendship got in the way at the end.
