    So many people are warring over this silly "Mac vs PC" rubbish, and I'm just relaxing at my computer, thinking about how few good arguments anyone puts out for their computer

      Since Apple switched to Intel parts its the same hardware underneath (This does not apply to iPads only the Mac hardware). Macs are just priced 3x higher for the equivalent Dell because they convinced non-technical folk that because they look cooler they must work better. So the real argument is Windows, OS X or Linux as your OS.

       

      Personally I would rate them Linux (Mint w/ Cinnamon is my fav for the desktop) then Windows 7 (cause 8 is shit) then OS X. Right now I need Windows...
