Basically it is my attempt at being more social online, since my social skills offline are a complete disaster. I basically have no social life offline.

    gaming Warhammer 40k

Here are some of my regular infantry all of the infantry have gas masks made from Green Stuff, sculpted by hand. these are inspired by Renegade here are my Cyborgs, from Tiberian Sun, who count as my Ogyrn. they are made from Tau/SM/IG parts, the tiberium is lego, the scource lighting is painted on. here is one of my Nod APCs, inspired by Tiberian Dawn (Cnc1) I have one more of these. they are made from rhinos, old IG parts, sm parts, and plasticard. thats enough pics for now. there is of course much more but thats a nice sample.

I worked for GW as a redshirt (they were red back then, anyways) from '05 - '08. I started playing in '03 and have accumulated 6000 pts of painted Tau, 2500 Brotherhood of Nod themed IG most of it painted, and 2000 pts of Chaos Alpha Legion mostly painted as well. anybody else been collecting for a while?
  5. Any Ottawa Bronies still around?
  6. I am a furry (a scalie to be exact. A nile monitor. Sensing a theme here? Lol) and an avid Warhammer 40,000 table top player. I even worked for games workshop for three years! I have boat loads of miniatures most of them painted. For any of you out there who know what im talking about, I love the Tau Empire the most and have around 6,000 points of Tau painted! Its taken me 10 years, mind you.
  7. I LOOVE these games. I still play lfd2 alot. I totally agree though with most of the sentiments here: the second one is better for gameplay, but the first has better ambiance. the darkness, and "feeling of dread" are totally not there in the second one most of the time. the levels are too open and bright, but perhaps thats what they wanted, as they wanted a different feel for the art direction maybe? I dunno. interesting tidbit: the boomer was origonally two different specials: the leaker, and the screamer. the leaker was like the boomer, but he just leaked the bile on you if you shot him. the screamer was an infected in a straight jacket, if he saw you, hed run away and scream, attracting the hoarde. the devs found the screamer to be OP, since finding the screamer while fighting the hoarde was almost impossible. they then just rolled the two into the boomer instead. also, the games working title when it was in the concept stages was "terrorstrike" as in "counterstrike" (another one of Valve's games)
  8. Thank you so much for the great response guys, im actually blown away at how friendly and inviting you all are. Its refreshing honestly. Im also very impressed with the moderating and registration systems. Very good stuff. I cant wait to start posting

  10. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack How did you find MLP Forums?: I decided I wanted to meet some bronies, so I just typed brony forums into google and this was the first thing! so here I am. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: The same old story. A friend of mine showed me an episode. several months later I was watching it again, and I couldnt stop. I watched an episode after work each day. I looked forward to it so much. now ive watched the whole series at least twice. I started thinking about the show, I started making up characters with my girlfriend. I realized then, that I was a brony. Well the name is Glyph, as in Heiroglyph. I like ancient egypt so I went with a theme there I guess. I also like sci fi, robots (any kind is coo'), dinosaurs (rawr!), and table top wargaming! theres other stuff of course but I should keep it short and sweet. Im 27, but I still feel like a big kid. I hope to meet new friends and enjoy this awesome party rather than just watch! woooo ponies!
