      I don't know anything about Connecticut, other than the name.

      Lol, no.......a sleeping giant is a nickname to any volcano b/c remember volcanoes sleep and when awaken it erupts. (erupts during earthquakes), ex: Krakatoa, most powerful volcano ever to erupt in the Indonesia/Philippines. It was so powerful and so loud, you can hear it all over the world.
