He's sad, because he doesn't have any family. He's also angry. Kinda crazy. Wants to kill the mother, whom he doesnt have, but he wants also love, from the same mother.     I think Prance is quite accurate. Applebloom is indeed speaking in "François"(which is the old french dialect). Oddly enough,they added in some profanity from this dialect like "Ventre-saint-gris" ,"Pardieu"(can't translate those one) ...And yeah,it sucks...
