... I love this so very, very much... Also... Obsidian Sparkle is a pretty kickass name. Twirity is actually my second favorite ship after Rarijack! (Why do all my favorite ships have Rarity in it?) So have some Raritwi!

Rarity spelunking for gems and precious metals. She does not need to fear the bats or the slime monsters that call these caves their home. A swift kick with her shapely hindlegs will send every creature of the depths running. Still the dark pitfalls and loose rocks of the caverns are not without danger, good things that Rarity is brave, resourceful and clever. That kinda needs to be an episode now...

Just watching Rarity while she is working is probably one of the things i would look most forward too if i could live in Ponyville. Its something that makes her incredibly happy, and that happiness she would share with everyone that witnessess her dancing the dance of creation through her boutique. The sheer joy to create something beautiful is a powerful thing. I felt it too sometimes, and it really is something special. A thing as special as this emotion felt by someone as special as Rarity would be a great thing to behold indeed. That is actually a Bioshock Infinite reference.

i always wonder how their kinds would be... How they would look, and how their characters would be. Yes, i know they are both mares, but love and magic conquers all! Kawaii! Congratulations, man! Hope your work there will fulfill you, and you will have much fun building whole worlds!

I always wondered how people can hate something lovely as her... Its almost like they hate passion, complexity, self-expression, emotionality, strength, courage, intelligence, forgiveness, creativity, noblesse, courteousness, selflessness, adorableness, self-assuredness, melodiousness, gloriousness, inspirationality, grace, friendliness, fabulosity, gorgeousness, sensuality, alluringness... divinity. I can only say one thing to those people that seemingly hate all the good in the world. Only one response to them is fitting...

Im just gonna post this again because its gorgeous. And i doubt our newer friends in here have seen it already. It may not be as sophisticated as other pieces, but for me this piece goes right for the feels, and shouldn't that be something an artwork does? Rarity is asking a question in it i can only answer in one way. Rarity combines so many great character traits into one lovely package. Her complexity is stunning, as is her loveliness. For me she is highly desirable, her character is highly desirable. Someone asked me once what i would do if a women would one day knock on my door, a women exactly like Rarity in her character. This is a question i can only answer in one way.

Our queen desires cake! Seeing that Rarity is capable of dropping her natural noble demeanor for it, it has to be as sweet as she herself is.

Rarity needs to rest her beautiful head a little bit. She worries about so many things, sometimes she just needs a break. So rest little princess and dream something nice. Dream of your beauty and the beauty you gift to others. Dreams of your generosity and the generosity you in turn recieve. Dream of the work of art your are, and the works of art you create. Dream of your friends, how much you love them, and how much they love you. Dream of the love of your life that is waiting out there for you, how happy you will make him or her, and the other way around. But most importantly, dream only sweet dreams. You deserve them, my little beauty. You deserve only the best.

Good morning! May the sweet kiss of coffee deliver you from the veil of the nights numbness. And yeah, im sure im going to enjoy that. Can't wait to read that. Ikr? She could have reacted so different here! And i would not have thought less of her for it. Coco was a centerpiece, a supporting pillar of Suris betrayal. Without her Suri might not have been able to make those dresses. Rarity was willing to give her a second chance though, because everybody deserves these... And Rarity knows that. The openness and friendliness she showed to Coco was like a window to the true self of Rarity, her innermost character. Generous and forgiving.

I love Rarijack, may it be as a friendship or a loveship (I invented a word!). Different as they may be, there is still much that connects them. They both are utterly dedicated to their work, have a great working attitude and would never deliver inferior wares. They both love their familiy and especially their sisters, and would do anything for them, as they would for their friends. Both are more than willing to set their own needs aside for others. They both also had and have much responsibillity to shoulder from an young age. The fact that both grew up in humble surroundings and the fact that Applejack may as well be like Rarity now, if she would have stayed in Manehatten, and that Rarity family is very country too, also connects them. I think they have, apart from some harmless clashes and some good hearted banter, a very healthy respect for each other. They are great and close friends, because and despite of their differences. I really love their friendship, and i really like to imagine them as lovers. Both proud, both beautiful, both strong... Both in love.

She really knows how to behave in the presence of her sovereign.

I also tend to borrow people money and if they want to give it back i just say: "Meh, you can keep it." And indeed, Queen Rarity is a very fitting title for the most gorgeous one! A generous and benevolent souvereign, keeping the unfabulous enemies at bay and her subjects safe and fabulous! She gives freely and invests heavily in her peoples wellbeing. She favours the fine arts and is the biggest benefactor and patron in all the realms. A queen not only lovely from the ouside, but from the inside too. Also: Hot... Hail to the queen, baby!

Rarity is just such a great person, and everybody would be happy and proud to have someone just like her as a friend in real life. The fact that she instantly forgets everything she does if a friends is in need and even is willing to bring great sacrifices for them, is much more than many people would be willing to do. ironically it's the same people that criticize her for being not generous enough that would uttlerly fail to come even close to her in that element. How many would do what she did? Throw away career chances like they are confetti? Do things they despise and LOATHE, again and again, just so that their friends and familiy feel good? Stand to their friends even if it could mean utter social suicide? Hold a fashion show she knew would be disastrous for her, just because her friends were so exited for it. Plunge her head into trash to keep a birthday party secret, even more horrible for her than it would be for any other person because she has a clinical fear of getting dirty, its like an arachnopobic person that would stick their head into a box full of spiders. Hold out in a bath of mud for minutes, completely submerged, to reconcile with her sister. Being unwilling to give up the fire ruby just because it was a gift of her Spikey-Wikey, something that could have meant her death. After being kidnapped by the Diamond Dogs, being willing to actually HELP them finding gems without complaining, it was not until the dogs showed that they were unwiling to let her go that she started to resist. Going to a camping trip, something she, again, does not like, to be close with her sister. Rushing to Applejewels help when her dress gets ruined by mud, it was Rarity in the end in Simple Ways that brought herself back to normal, it was her own innate generosity and selfishness. Running out of a fashion competition that she was about to win, which could have meant disqualification, just to make up for the way she treated her friends. Because she snapped ONCE after all those times she was betrayed and disappointed. Sacrifice, sacrifice, sacrifice and FORGIVENESS... Thats one of the most important things about her... Forgiveness. Because she always forgives, she never holds a grudge. Not against her friends, not against Blueblood, not against Coco. Thats what make her the element she is, and a true inspiration, a true rolemodel. Sacrifice and forgiveness.

It's a strange thing that a creature that is not real has such a huge impact on ones life. A positive impact. A huge positive impact. Rarity often gives me motivation and inspiration to do things i would not have done otherwise. May it be to write a short story, to craft something, to leave the house in search of components for said crafts, to talk with other people that share my love to her and ultimately feel affiliated with said people, become friends with them, extremely close friends. With people on the other side of the world. If not for Rarity, all that would have never happened, i would still sit in the hole of my clinical depression, well, i still do somewhat, but she helped me to fill that hole up a big deal. I can more often stick my head out to see whats out there, than i could without her help, and the help of the people i got to know because of her. I would be much worse off without her help. Rarity is the spark that made all of that possible. She helped me reignite my creativity. Knit bonds with people. Maybe she is the Element of Inspiration too, after all. For me she has always been. When she is sad i am too, when she is happy i am too. She is for me the first rays of the sun that kiss me awake in the morning. The wind that wispers into my ear to keep going. The soothing caress of the promise of sweet dreams that let me look forward to go to bed. I try to be more like her, be more kind, be more forgiving, be more creative, be more generous. I can never hope to come close to her in these aspects... But i will do my best. It's the least i can do to repay her for her help. I do my best. Like Rarity does. She always does her best. She puts her full passion into everything, however unimportant it may be. She inspires me.

I was searching for a picture of Rarity wrapped in ribbons as a birthday picture... Couldn't find it... So have Rarity giving a huge diamond as a gift instead!

Thats a really great and inspiring thing! I converted my own mother to bronydom, her favorite is Applejack, her second favorite Rarity. Your daughter basically IS Rarity! Does that mean you are this guy then?... It is a pretty blantant reference actually... I mean look at this: She even has names like Sparkle or Trixie in her random name generator... Happy birthday you two! Rarity is going to sing a happy birthday song for you! Like Marylin Monroe did for JFK! Only more pretty, more classy, and less drunk...

SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! Thats the one i use since forever:

*sigh* Wet-mane Rarity... One cannot really say that it makes her look beautiful, because she always is beautiful. One cannot say that it makes her more beautiful, because that would mean that Rarity is not the paragon of pony beauty already. It makes her look beautiful in a different way, like everything she does makes her more beautiful in a different way, never more beautiful... Rarity being more beautiful than she already is, is like being on top of a golden tower that is infinitely high, or being at the bottom of an infinitely deep, crystal clear ocean. Some things are just impossible... Some things cust cannot be topped...
