Society's norms do change and adapt with new (or newly obvious) cultures or beliefs or orientations or whatever. This process, however, takes a long time, in some cases generations, as those who don't agree with the way things are changing continue to teach their kids that these things are wrong.

If your critique is only criticism, however, it may do more harm than good. Driving people to improve is the goal here, not driving people away.
A better approach would be to explain what you think needs improving, but also comment on what you thought was good, and why (because something like music is always subjective).
