  1. Over 10000 people have viewed my profile in the last two and a half years. Honestly, what's so interesting?

  2. Not in a million years would they consider suddenly revealing that Apple Bloom is Applejack's daughter. That would have meant she had her far too young. I am more tempted to believe it is Diamond Tiara, rather than Apple Bloom, who is adopted. Spoiled Milk/Rich doesn't seem the type who would have wanted to have children. Actually, he only offered that as a possibility, before saying "Ask the writer."
  3. Ten bits says I'm not credited.

  4. First of all, yes, the show is for little girls. I think no one with a grip on reality ever denied that. The thing is, that when you make a good show for little girls, it becomes a good show for everyone. I think Jim's frustration is that he gets the brunt of it for things that are not under his control. He gets asked about the plotlines of the show, like he did recently with Where the Apple Lies. Well, that's not his department, is it? Jim is in charge of animating and acting, not writing. He takes the scripts and makes them visual, that's his job, and in that regard, he does it very, very well. If you have issues with the writing, talk to Meghan.
  5. Apple Bloom came from Mr. and Mrs. Apple, obviously. Under the circumstances, though, I think the more important question is: Where did Diamond Tiara come from, as Apple Bloom should have been born by the time of this episode, but Diamond Tiara's parents aren't married yet. The continued bad attitude of Spoiled Milk/Rich gives a pretty good indication, though. She's self-absorbed enough that I can easily see her not wanting to ruin her figure by having children, and so Diamond Tiara is probably adopted.
  6. This notion presumes that the reason they let Chrysalis go wasn't so that she would slowly but surely starve.
  7. I had originally heard only of one more movie. The three specials thing is interesting, though. (But, seriously, Sunset needs to come home!)
  8. Placed a hug order on Amazon for two types of things: MLP and Game of Thrones. They must think I'm weird.

  9. Product placement in live-action films is par for the course, I agree. Animated films still tend not to have much if any of it because parents are already aware their kids are being advertised to for toys as it is. They tend not to like their children being sold to any more blatantly than that.
  10. I think its highly unlikely Hasbro will even bother. They're making enough money on MLP-related merchandise advertised via the show that they don't need to stoop to something so crass as to put in a product that simply doesn't exist in Equestria. Otherwise, it would have happened by now. There was no non-Hasbro product placement in the original G1 Transformers animated movie, and that was set on Earth. They won't do it now.
  11. At some point, someone is going to get seriously creeped out, a clown is going to get shot or otherwise assaulted, and that will be the end of this stupid trend.
  12. I would like to find the right spot in the wall to push open, revealing a BFG 9000.
  13. I await the inevitable retribution that comes from criticizing the staff of this forum. It has been the ongoing theme of my time here.

  14. I am highly skeptical of the words of a person who uses their authority to have not just the last, but the only word on an issue.
  15. The explanation I heard was that Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were originally going to be sisters as well. Hasbro's board rejected the idea, however, as they thought it stretched the bounds of credibility when the other two Crusaders also had siblings in the Mane Six. Lauren Faust ultimately rethought the idea, as she decided that Dash would be the sort of big sister who would tease and prank their younger siblings endlessly, and finally agreed that Rainbow Dash made a better role model for Scootaloo than a sibling and left it at that.
  16. Always good to get confirmation of more pony!
  17. There should have been magical law enforcement after everything Trixie did in Magic Duel. That should have been the wake up call that not every unicorn is a good pony at heart.
  18. It is a sad irony that those who most belong in a position of authority are the ones with the conscience to leave it.

  19. By the look of that graph, the number of searches done prior to the show's announcement and airing are in the single-digit realm. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say it was people either working on the show or working at Hasbro checking to see if there had been any sort of leak of information by someone who wasn't supposed to be talking about it yet. (and perhaps a check to see if the phrase "Friendship is Magic" was in use in any other context.
  20. I've been known to frequent the occasional clothing-optional beach, so my answer is yes, but only if it's warm enough.
  21. Tirek had been roaming free for some time before he was able to start causing problems. With Cadence serving as the ruler of the Crystal Empire, she would have been quite high-profile compared to Twilight, who had barely begun to grow into her new role.
  22. I guess all is well when you can hide posts.

  23. Remember that Equestria's Sunset Shimmer was not a nice pony when she first came through the portal. So, when she first encountered Human Sunset Shimmer, well, there was shock, then anger, then a fight, and then...
