    Yeeee-HAW!
  2. I suck at singing. Naturally, therefore, I sent in my piece.
  3. There is really nothing so paranoia inducing as seeing who has viewed your profile.

  4. Not weird. There's a large Ukrainian population here in Canada that celebrates Malanka.
  5. Still miss you.

      Yeah...she was cool.

  6. Making new wings for my daughter's con costume.

  7. Vanhoover tomorrow! An MLP con back in my back yard after way too long.

  8. So, who's going to Vanhoover?

  9. Happy Hearth's Warming Eve, everypony!

  10. I think I should have lived 700 years in either direction.
  11. At this time of year, it is again important to remember that mistletoe has oval leaves and white berries.

  12. Can anyone actually see my signature on any of my posts?

      That one. Thank you.

  13. Happy Football and Tryptophan Day to those celebrating now instead of a month and a half ago like I did.

  14. For everyone from Trottingham, Happy Galloway Fetlocks Day!

  15. Happy Nightmare Night! Enjoy it while you can, I've already seen a Hearth's Warming Eve special on TV!

  16. Pegasi are from mythology, so it's not like Hasbro can claim sole rights to them. The description you give of your characters themselves bears little resemblance to MLP, so it's probably good. Your proposed artwork however is to close to MLP's and will definitely need a rework.
  17. Not really, no. Just come in hope of something interesting.
  18. Okay, now I know Equestrian justice is weird. They put a filly in Tartarus but Trixie walked free after her stunt with the amulet.
  19. Yes! New MLP convention here to replace the last one! vanhoover.ca

  20. Okay, whoever's responsible for that banner is a sick puppy.

  21. I think imported anime has sunk to the level of the lowest common denominator of audiences. I'm going to date myself here, but my first experience with imported anime was Space Cruiser Yamato, which aired in North America as Star Blazers. It was unlike any other cartoon I had ever seen as a boy. There was a continuing storyline, not just a plot of evil villain gets thwarted and then a new scheme is hatched next week. Characters had complex motives. The "bad guy" was acting to save his people. And characters (gasp) died! The problem is the perceived need in North America to sanitize life for kids. And while happy stories for children have their place, we shouldn't shy away from the heavy, grey area topics that make a good epic, and indeed, make up life.
