  1. By that I mean ever been out somewhere only to overhear someone talking about it, or hear a ring tone, or hear someone playing a video on their phone or anything like that? I admit there have been times I have been out to a restaurant or at a Dr's office and watch it on Netflix or listen to some of the songs on YouTube. I also have a ring and alert tone for my phone that is MLP.
  2. From what we have seen there is little to no poverty. Sure there are those that are rich but most everypony else seems to have a more or less middle-class lifestyle. True there was problems in Giffinstone but as far as the ponies in Equestria go poverty seems to be practically non-existent.
  3. Quite honestly I was hoping they would make am EQG movie that or more less centered around the Mane Six. By that I mean while EQG 1 may have been a starting point, with RR being, obviously RD and FG being about Twilight we could have another three movies having at least sub plots devoted to Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack and Pinkie Pie.
  4. I think in most High Schools her hair would be considered extreme/distracting and not allowed.
  5. The first song of the show, what would you rate it? Great, good, average, bad, awful?
  6. So in what ways would you all say Pony Twilight and Human Twilight are different?
  7. Well, surely you should all know how important it is for us to invade....I mean liberate Equestria and bring some freedom! We have what amounts to a continent ruled by a selective small group of Princess', they obviously need freedom!!
  8. Who from Dragon Ball/Z do you think fully powered Tirek is comparable to? I would personally not put him past Piccolo Daimao/King Piccolo from DB. I don't see him being even Raditz tier.
  9. Now hear me out. While it is a great show, does it possibly have a unrealistic view of it? In the final song to season 5 there is a line that goes "everywhere you go, friendship there will grow". Now while it's nice to think that, and of course you should be open to making friends wherever you are, realistically does that make sense? Pretty sure as an American I wouldn't be likely to make friends in Baghdad or Iraq. And of course they always show if you are nice enough to someone they will see the errors of their ways and change. So while certainly the message is good, is it portrayed as it should be and does FiM do a good job of accurately showing how to make and maintain friendships?
  10. Say you and your fav of the Mane Six were roommates, how well would you get along? I think me and Rarity would get along very well. We would both like keeping a clean home/apartment, I hardly do anything she would consider "uncouth" and I know I could count on her to pay her share of the bills.
  11. Just watched EQG:FG for the first time despite having seen the other numerous times. My ranking would go: EQG:RR:>>>>EQG>>>EQG:FG.
  12. Twilight seemed really amazed at the kind of power SG showed by vastly boosting SWtB spell. Not even Twilight or even possibly the other Princess' can do that.
  13. It really is one of my favorite songs in the show. But not only is it good in and of itself, it has many great meanings behind it, IMO. First great thing was Twilight being able to have so much support from the other Princess;. Then it helping her with what she was struggling with being a Princess but not knowing her role. But even beyond that I think in a way it can also apply to others. While chances are I very much doubt any of us are struggling being new Princes/Princesses or anything of that caliber, I think most of us do struggle with finding out what our place and role is. When I listen to the song it has so much meaning. I think one part that is especially poignant is when Celestia says: "Your destiny's uncertain, and that's sometimes hard to take. But it will become much clearer, with every new choice you make". I have certainly felt the same in my life. Never knowing what I am supposed to do, where I should be, what my life is supposed to be. But I have made lots of choices, and while good and bad it has helped me to realize more what I am, and just what I should do. I just find it a good song for so many different reasons, not least of which is the message.
  14. So, does anyone else think Rarity may be overextending herself now? She just got a new shop at Canterlot last season and she already has a new on in Manehattan.
  15. Even though she isn't my favorite I really like RD raspy voice. I have always thought it was a unique quirk when I have met women in real life that have it. Not very often but it is interesting.
  16. Well considering we think fighting people in the desert and caves that is of no threat to us is a great idea, is it really that far fetched they wouldn't come up with a reason to invade a place like Equestria?
  17. Say a portal opened up right in front of the White House do you think we'd start sending tanks, infantry, fighter jets etc. in and invade and take over? Do you think they could do anything to defend themselves?
  18. I realize in Equestria being a Princess is pretty much the end all be all in status but we do know Princes exist so why does Spike like to call himself a Princess when being a male he should be a Prince.
  19. Quiet, you! There can never be "too much" Rarity! Hell, they could devote an entire season to the fashion goddess Rarity and I would watch them all! So don't say such blasphemy!
  20. As no doubt unappetizing as it may be, could a human eat a hayburger without any ill effects? And if so would you be willing to go a year eating nothing by hayburgers for 5 MILLION dollars (you can drink whatever you want though)?
  21. She certainly has some nice...hooves!
  22. If so, how much would you need to be paid in order to accept it? Granted we don't know what all it entails working on a rock farm but I can only assume part of it involves moving some real large rocks as well as breaking them down. You would also probably want to be in excellent shape. I think I would do it for at least $45K a year but not sure how many bits that is in Equestrian money.
  23. I do. Mine is Rarity's "Afraid to get dirty?!" line from "The Best Night Ever". My roommate always tells me to turn my phone down when we happen to be out together LOL.
  24. Wow, that's crazy! So if a Pony were to kick you in the chest do you think they could break a few ribs?
