Chie remain in an awkward situation with after Mr. Dojima's far fetched assumptions. Anyway, they arrived at Junes, their usual HQ. They sat down, Chie, Yu, Teddy, and Yosuke. Kanji, Naoto, and the new kid came shortly afterwards. They began by talking about a missing person, Mariku, which is presumed to be on the TV already. Though it's unlikely, there's still chance he's there. Since most of us, except Yukiko was present, it's most likely they will be on their way to the TV world. Chie just waited patiently for their decisions. ---------------------------------- Yukiko has been busy as usual. Fortunately, the afternoon wasn't busy at all that the staff can handles it on their own, which is a good thing. Yukiko rushed out to her room and changed her clothes to a crimson red t-shirt and black jeans and grabbed one of her fan she has. She went out from the inn straight to Junes. Chie had fun eating with Yu's family, as well as getting approval to celebrates Yu's return at Yu's house. Nanako is also very happy since she gets to play piano for the group. It is sure to be fun to hear her playing. The school's already out, which means that Naoto and Kanji would on their way now to Junes. So, Yu gave a sign to Mr. Dojima and Nanako that we should go and meet the others. As they walked to their destination, Yu broke the silence, talking about Dojima making an awkward moment for both of them. She saw Yu's face getting red again. "Yeah... Hahahaha... I mean, Mr. Dojima must've thought of something weird..." Chie said, blushing at the last part. Chie began to wonder if she and Yu are on the same train of thought. @@TheLineTrotter

Yu helped Chie in cooling the mood by asking Nanako some question. Yu asked about her piano lessons. Chie remembered that Nanako began playing piano shortly before Yu went back to the city. She must've improved a lot by now. Nanako suggested that she played for Chie and her friends, the whole group. "I would love to see you play the piano, Nanako." Chie exclaimed. "Say, we're planning to have a party celebrating Yu's return to this town. Maybe you could play the piano for us during that time." Chie suggested. @@TheLineTrotter

Chie smiled as Dojima wanted to help her. But then, Dojima will be keeping a close eyes on Chie. It would be fine for Chie. She got what it takes to be a cop. "It's a deal, Mr. Dojima." Chie said. Then an awkward moment ensues. Dojima invited Chie for lunch but they wanted to keep it down at the living room, not in Yu's room. From afar, she could saw Yu blushing. Of course, Chie also blushed. "It's okay! It's okay! I'll join the lunch with you guys." Chie said after processing Dojima's sentence. Chie entered the house and sat with the family. She needs to cool down the tension among the family, making it less awkward. Come on Chie. Think of something. We need to break the ice. Chie thought. Chie arrived at Dojima's residence. She knocked on the door and who opened the door is quite surprising. It's Dojima himself. He thought Chie's visit is to meet Yu but it's the otherwise. "Actually, I'm here to see you, Mr. Dojima. You see, I've been applying to join the police force, but up to now, they haven't send me any feedback. It was 9 AM. Chie was somehow drooling while sleeping. When she woke up, she felt so tired, that she wanted to go to sleep again. She can do that, since Kanji and Naoto would be available to save Marie right after school, it would be 5 hours from now, more or less. But then, she remembered her plan to meet Dojima to get a recommendation, so she can join the police force. She snapped and jumped out of the bed, forgotting the drool she made. She took a shower and wear a white t-shirt, her favorite green jacket that she used since high school, which still fit in her body and wore a pair of jeans. She set out to meet Dojima. 'I hope he's still at his house, if not, then I have to came to the police station. Better get going!' Chie thought. --------------------- Yukiko woke up early as usual, embracing the day managing Amagi Inn. Hopefully, everything can turn out all right, so that she can do the investigation with her friends. The midnight channel's return still shocked her up to now, since everything has been resolved years ago. By the fact that the channel had appeared again years later, it must be concluded that the matter has not yet been resolved completely. Her fiery passion to finish the investigation rose once again, making her more determined than usual. She just hope everything turned out alright. @ @@TheLineTrotter @

Thanks to Chie, Yu felt so much better from her comfort. Chie felt a relieve of cheering him up. He said that if they wanted to go search they must wait until after school, where Naoto and Kanji are free. We could use their help. Their teamwork will be helpful. He also reminded Chie about the recommendatio with Dojima. but lately Chie always woke up late, which means she might have to visit Dojima at his office. Oh well, let's try that anyway tomorrow. "Okay. See you tomorrow Yu. Goodnight." Chie said as she hung up. She turned off the lights and went to sleep. @ @@TheLineTrotter

The anxiety in Yu's voice is concerning Chie. He ranted on his action to seek the truth years ago, on how he felt that the act that have cost him a lot of time and effort are not enough. He was confused and depressed from all of this. Chie was laying down as she talked with Yu about this. "No Yu, you have done the best you can do. We just need to do again like old times. All of your actions and decision you make is the right thing to do. Besides, remember that what's important is the current state of being; what's matter is now. We need to get to the bottom of it and find the culprit this time around." Chie said over the phone. "We'll begin the search tomorrow. I already informed Yukio and she said she could come also." Chie added.

Chie arrived in her home and went straight to her room. As midnoght draws closer, She called Yukiko. The guest usually already asleep at times like this, so Chie decided to make a call to Yukiko, informing her about the upcoming midnight channel. Chie: Hey, Yukiko. It's me, Chie, are you still awake? Yukiko : Oh, hey Chie. I was actually going to sleep. I was dead tired today. Chie : Oh, sorry. But this is an emergency. The midnight channel might be up again tonight. But, if you don't wanna see it tonight, I can fill you in on what happened on the midnight channel tomorrow. Yukiko : Oh it's OK. I still have some energy to watch the channel. Chie: Oh great. Ooh the it's close to midnight. We should keep the line open. Yukiko : Okay. it's seconds away from 12 PM. Both girls sat there waiting for the channel to appear. The clock rang. The midnight has arrived. From the appeared, a circus act with Marie 'hosting' it like a presenter. A natural as usual she was, since Marie worked as weather woman in TV. Then all the nonsense came and soon enough, the channel shuts down. Chie : Oh no. Marie. You saw that Yukiko. Yukiko. Yeah. As clear as day. We should meet up. I'm actually free tomorrow. Maybe the others will go too. Chie : Okay. We meet up at Junes tomorrow at the usual place. Yukiko : Noted. G'night Chie Chie : Good night Yukiko Yukiko ended the call and both went to sleep afterwards. Chie got a phone call from Yu "Oh Yu, did you see the Midnight channel?" Chie asked @@TheLineTrotter

Time passed very quickly when talking to the group. Chie didn't realize it's already an hour before sunset. Teddy and Yosuke were going home, as well as all other members. Chie wanted to part ways too, with a slight thought of visiting Yukiko before going home. "I'll see you guys later. Hopefully we can start saving Marie ASAP!" Chie said to the group as they leave. Chie walked happily, knowing the nostalgia of having so much fun in the group like what she had years ago. She walked past the Amagi Inn and began considering checking on Yukiko or not. At times like this, Yukiko is quite busy. Chie understands that. So, she decided to crash into Amagi Inn tomorrow, as well as asking Yu's uncle, Mr. Dojima to recommend her, so she can join the force fast.
