  I am not attempting to. But this is coming from a psychology student, who has also been through many bad scenarios.
  
  They are doing just that, looking for help, or finding a place to vent. They have to somewhere.
  
  And they do go to their friends, the average mind will almost always go to their friends first. But they respond, same as you, that they do not want to hear it.
