So a topic has been weighing on my mind recently due to a few comments I have heard and a few conversations I have looked over. Sure everyone(or at least a majority) knows they exist in the fandom. Pony haters. They just go straight for bashing a pony for the sake of *pony hater interrupts*....what...you don't have any clear reason? You just do it for the sake of...... bashing the pony? Not even trolling sometimes?... Oh joy whelp let's go on about these delightful people shall we? Most of the hate posts/comments you see are like this (bear with me please) " TWILIGHT IS WORST PONY! APPLEJACK SUCKS! RAINBOW DASH IS HORRIBLE!" Which are mostly troll posts or someone trying to get others mad. Feel free to ignore these because there is no point in chasing down these comment with the righteous dictionary that is everything good that pony has done in the series. That can be used later for other things like in logical discussions but these people aren't really the people to use it on unless feeling the extreme need to arise which is still un-recommended. Now we must address the more.. offending posts/comments. These are more along the line of tl;dr length or just a normal few sentences. For the sake of saving up space I'm not giving any examples. I am sure These can easily found somewhere or thought up. Feel free to find them at the risk of getting a bit upset. Usually these haters have little to no reason what so ever in their posts. The posts sometimes can't even put 2 and 2 together! Even when they can they still don't add up much in worth! Just the fact that the hater indeed hates them. I can usually read past these guys just for this exact reason. They have little to nothing to back them up therefore just read past them like anything else. Sometimes they can cause people to feel like utter shit. Excuse the language but it's true. These people just hate the ponies either for the sake of hating them to get on a band wagon or really want to hurt someone. Why? There is literally no gain other than bullying and the brony way is suppose to be "Love and Tolerate". Well don't they like to live dangerously. Yes I do know that others may have a different opinion than mine. Perfectly fine. As long as they give a good point and reason then perfectly fine. We may disagree but whatever they like. I can't force them to change their minds by slapping them upside the head with that metaphorical dictionary mentioned before. Sure others may dislike a character's character for reason like they just don't see eye to eye with their choices or something bothers them about the character then that is like sure. Why not? Then there is the people that are like "their design sucks therefore they suck"...uhm.. run that by me again? Not paying attention to the character but instead paying attention to their design then proceeding to dislike them because they don't like an aspect like maybe AJ's hat? Alrighty then. I don't really have words for that....just...okay then. Now we got to talk about the hypocritical people in this situation. WHAT IN THE LITERAL... Okay I've seen sooooooo much of this crap. They will go on like "Oh yeah I just hate it when people talk trash about your best pony then it makes you feel like crap." then they will proceed to be like "lol Vinyl sucks" "1/10 worst pony" and be completely serious about it. Excuse me kind person but I happen to like Vinyl. Last I checked you really disliked it when people do that but you obviously have no regard for others around you let alone stick to your own word so..yeaaah. Stop. Thanks. So apparently these people exist. Can't they just be live and let live with this? Do they really need to go the extra mile after defending their best pony or feeling bad from what someone has gone on about their best pony being horrible to make someone else feel bad? If they would have the common sense to notice others have feelings then and make the better choice then that would be wonderful. I nothing more to say on these people. Out of the types I have mentioned I find these people the worst just because they aren't any better than what they dislike even if they think they are. Alright. I believe that's my rant there even though it seems more like an explanation. It's just something I can't personally wrap my head around. Like seriously? Anyways. What is your experiences with these people? What do you think on the subject? All them great questions. Please can we love and tolerate each other starting off by stopping this pointless hate? Edit/Update: I completely forgot one subject this early morning when I was typing this out so bear with me for this edit/update. Hate towards over hyped ponies like Derpy, Vinyl, Dr. Hooves, Tavi, and you pretty much get the idea. Anyone who has little screen time, has had no real characterization than a few things, and/or is given a fan personality. I can literally just throw a rock near my feet and upset this crowd. The characters have next to nothing going for them yet people immediately hate them just because...character design and what the fandom gave them? Hasbro pretty much let us decide who these characters are. We should cherish the fact we as a fandom gave these characters life! Now arguably Derpy and DJ Pon-3(Vinyl) are the most controversial because their designs and their characterization by the fandom. I'm perfectly fine with these ponies. I even ADORE these off to the side fandom ponies because what I mentioned. We pretty much made these characters whether some of us like it or not. Back to the point. You just see so much hate for no reason other than the fandom did something or they just straight up HATE the design. Sure you talk about Luna or Celestia then everyone is like "Oh I just love her!" "She is the best!" Sure they got some characterization in the show but they are pretty much in the same situation as the other background ponies. Celestia is often seen as a mother figure to Twilight in the fandom and everyone is fine with that. Luna is often seen as...I don't really know this one other than the NLR and her filly self being a bit of a trickster or down right adorable. Then you get Derpy liking muffins and going on adventure with Dr. Hooves through time and space. Immediate hate. Vinyl Scratch being electric/dubstep DJ club pony. Sounds fun to me! Immediate hate anyways. The differences are small. Almost next to nothing other than probably major speaking roles for plot convenience. Sure they use the background ponies for fan service multiple times but the fandom made these ponies so of course they're going to give the fans some sort of service like Derpy being the "Where's Waldo?" of the series, Dr. Hooves and Rose in the Breezies episode with Dr. Hooves wearing what David Tennant wore as the Doctor, and Vinyl in "Music to My Ears" listening to some dubstep confirming that indeed she does like what we think she likes. The only reason I see the hate for these ponies is just because the fandom made them into what they are. They can dislike them sure like I said before I'm cool with that and I will be more lenient with background ponies but to go out of your way to make someone feel horrible for liking these ponies. Confound this fandom and their shenanigans *sips cider*

Got a quite a bit of supplies and a really nice sketch book. Time to art all the ponies! The first pony after my hiatus is my newly created Forte Aria. Her muzzle was tough and her mane as well her tail were difficult because I didn't quite know what looked good.
