This is why I find it so hard to be motivated to do anything, I just can't see the point in it. It doesn't seem like I'd really be improving my life or making myself happier, as much as just getting "Bragging Rights". Maybe some people are genuinely happy, but honestly most of it just seems like "I'm miserable too, but I do stuff anyway, that's what life is!"

Yeah...It is a shame how much this society obsesses with being better than everyone else, it creates far too much negativity and self pressuring among people. Life should be about being happy and enjoying what we like, since this is the only life we have and after this, it doesn't matter anyways.

Thing for me is, I can't really do that. Since I have no motivation to do pretty much anything at all, I just want to sit in my house and be left alone. I can't really continue like this, but I know once I go out there and start putting effort in it's just going to get worse.
