I already should saw it coming... Clock switching to wrong time, problems turning on yesterday.... But when turning off for the night yesterday, the little on lamp was still glowing several minutes after turning off. I holded the button to force it down.
And since then can't turn it on again... I tried like a hour everything, but all it does is making some noise after a while holding the On Button and the little lamp blinking until I let go from it
So yeah, seems I need a new laptop, what means until I find the time, I'm not on...
This goddamn bucking week, getting sick last weekend and then partly work still sick, being only 2 because of the other one being more sick, full and different train times, I thought. This weekend was better again too me but nope, it literally ended the worst possible way. Well, Gg life for ruining mine, also means everything I safed but not anywhere else or on the stick I never used is gone, I'm so peeved and angry, why always me!!! Well, see ya whenever....

G5 is already confirmed for a 2nd season.
I remember when shows had to EARN a 2nd season. -
Okay, bad news is the laptop I spilled on still isn't working, so that sucks. Good news is I got an older laptop updated and working. It's slower and not as good, but it's far more preferable than no laptop.

A tornado apparently just came right down our street and took down a few trees and other stuff. I must be oblivious though because I didn't see, hear or feel a single thing up here in my room, only know that happened because the neighbor came over freaking out.
-
Probably going to end up losing internet soon. We can't afford it because everyone in my house has no job right now and nobody can get unemployment because the system isn't working. So I'm going to be stuck in the house with no internet for who knows how long.
Considering how garbage my mental health is already, how I'm depending on the internet for entertainment, socializing and generally not going insane, and how I'm stuck with two alcoholics, I don't know what to do.

I remember this one time, years ago back when I was still in school, this teacher asked me if I liked to read cause she hadn't seen me with a book. I said yes and told her I just liked to do all my reading online. She asked me what sites because she might be interested. I froze up because I realized the only site I liked to do reading on was Fimfiction and how was I supposed to explain to her my literature of choice was pony fanfics.
I kinda dodged the question and I don't think she believed me about liking to read at all.

The way some people talk about Discord in the Season 2 premiere, you'd swear he was the most evil cartoon character they'd ever seen. A lot of people seem to have this exaggeratedly evil view of him where they interpret his as some being of pure evil who brings fire and brimstone and not a lunatic who makes it rain sweet liquids and turns reality into a surrealist painting.
-
@Kiryu-Chan I like his reformation for the most part, but I tend to find Discord just fascinating as a character, mostly because I just like how much of a contradictory mess he is, I wanna know what the heck is going on in his brain and why he does the weird stuff he does, sometimes it's obvious, other times it feels like what he wants and what he's doing are conflicting. His later appearances are a mixed bag, because sometimes you can see the improvement, like in the season 6 finale or Discordant Harmony, or certain other parts of episodes, and sometimes it seems like he's either backsliding or hasn't changed that much.
I do feel like there's some parts the writer's could have done a better job with though, I don't want him to be a saint but I think they could have done more to show him trying to be genuine friends with the 5 outside of Flutters. I actually think some of the early comics did a better job with making him sympathetic without necessarily making him a goody-goody two shoes.

@Kiryu-Chan I think to an extent it's because what better option is there really? Lock him up in stone seems good, but eventually he'll just break out again and probably go on another rampage, and what happens when he eventually wins? He's invulnerable to pretty much anything that isn't the Elements or having his magic stolen. Equestrians don't seem too enthused about killing, so that's probably off the table, and even draining his magic might be a concern taking that into account, because if he isn't chaotic enough he'll eventually fade away. With his "Reformation" he's at least restrained, he'll generally try not to do anything too terrible out of fear of losing his friends, and he's shown to be able to care about others and feel remorse for doing something wrong, so there's some improvement there, no matter how small.
You're right that it's kind of a bad situation, but in-universe from all we've seen of the show, having him free but restrained and maybe eventually being...if not a good, at least a tolerable person might actually be the best outcome here.

@Kiryu-ChanI've always thought of him as more A-moral than really evil. I've never really considered him "Reformed" at all though, he didn't turn around because he saw the error of his ways and decided he wants to be a better person, he just turned around because he realized friendship was something he wanted, and then came to care about the people around him a bit, even if he's pretty terrible at showing it. You're right that he's pretty unpleasant, except around Fluttershy most of the time.
I think it'll be a long, long time before he can ever really be considered "Reformed" and I think his nature as a creature of Chaos will always cause some issues.

And then Pinkie died from sugar overdose.

I think the main reason why Twilight’s rise through the royal hierarchy still bothers me is that I don’t feel she ever controlled her destiny in the way her friends did theirs. Rainbow Dash worked hard to become a Wonderbolt, but Twilight was always going to rule Equestria - whether she wanted to or not.
-
Tirek was a villain, I expect him to take things from Twilight and not really care about how she feels. Celestia is someone Twilight is close to and who she looks up to and cares about, and who seems to care about her back. I expect her to actually care about how Twilight feels and what she wants, so it's worse when it seems like she doesn't.
Like, I know Celestia cares about Twilight, but it still kind of feels like she was treating her as a "Free retirement ticket" rather than a person.

I think her "Celestia" design is rather pretty, personally. Though it has some potentially disturbing implications.
More disturbing than just the possibility that Twilight is immortal/has a much longer life-span, is the part where you realize that Celestia basically tricked Twilight into that being the case without her consent. That kind of life doesn't necessarily have to be gloom and doom, but it's still a big deal and not the kind of thing you push on someone without asking. Before we had Megan's Twitter comment saying Twilight wouldn't outlive her friends to kind of remove this concern, but that statement doesn't seem to have stuck.

I feel the same, people can say whatever they want about that school, but at the end of the day it was something Twilight actually chose and wanted. Then this season just rips her away from that, and from her life in Ponyville, and from living with her friends, and pretty much her entire life to go run a kingdom and nopony even bothers to ask if she actually wants that. Even if it all seemed to turn out alright in the end, it still feels kinda messed up.

I seriously wish somepony, especially Celestia actually just took a second to ask her if she actually wanted to do all this. Not if she was ready for it, or if she could handle it, but if she wanted it. Like, especially when she was freaking out so much, you'd think somepony would start to wonder, "Hey, what if she doesn't even want to do this?"

Congratulations Starlight, you no longer have the dumbest excuse to be evil.
SpoilerReally, Tirek? Daddy issues?

Alright, let's be honest here. Who else teared up?

Just found this GIF of Celestia. Good lord... she’s perfect...

The last two seasons of FiM are a lot like S6 and S7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer in that while they're messier than what came before them, they're both made worthwhile by a mostly satisfying ending that makes sense and ties everything together.

Is Discord some kind of ferret?

Only a few more weeks left of having to worry about Friendship is Magic's ending.
