    389908 Know what I hate? The whole "I don't like this popular episode, and people act like I'm not allowed to have that opinion, which isn't fair, I can dislike or like what I want! But anyone who likes it is an idiot and a blind fanboy who just follows the crowd." Do they even realize they're doing literally the same thing as the people they were complaining about in the first place? Sure, you can dislike whatever you want, and people who treat you badly just cause you don't like the same thing are jerks, but that doesn't mean you get to turn around and do the same to anyone who DOES like it. Calling someone a "Dumb Hater" just cause they don't like...I dunno, "Hurricane Fluttershy" or something is stupid. Calling someone a blind fanboy just cause they do is just as stupid.

    Well, this is probably the most cynical view of the episode I've ever seen, and I'm not even entirely sure how to respond to it, because I feel like you didn't really give a reason, it just feels like angry, hateful ranting. That's fine, honestly, everyone needs to vent about stuff. Really though, I can't say my thoughts are in anyway similar to yours. I thought the episode was pretty funny, charming and heartwarming. Pinkie comes across as a good sister, she just wants to get Maud the best present she can, and she's so excited to do it, she's willing to give up something she loves for that, I don't see how this kind of thing is out of character for Pinkie. And, I like Maud. I'm not a fanboy obsessive over her, but I like her. She's funny and seems like good sister, even if she's not exactly the most "Exciting" pony. Nothing wrong with that.

    Donkey Kong Country, without a doubt. I prefer pretty much everything about them, from the atmosphere, to the music, to the characters, the controls, the level design, the art...All 5 games in the series are pretty great, with DKC2 and Tropical Freeze being my personal favorites. DKC 1, 3, and Returns all come close though. I really want one more game to round off a new trilogy. Mario is...fun. It's not bad by any means, and Yoshi's Island is absolutely fantastic, but other than that game I've never felt the 2D Mario's were all that special. I certainly enjoy playing them, but the atmosphere is lacking, I find the music is catchy, but get's annoying after a while, and while the level design is still good, I prefer DKC's in general. Everytime I play the original Donkey Kong arcade game, I always want to root for DK.
